Best way to remove Epoxy on a yacht (Included Photos)
Celeste replied to BGMBGM's question in Having A "Blast" (sand, soda, dry ice, etc.)
Well I'm confused. You taking off the teak as well? -
Hi James.....like Beth said, photos would be really helpful! It sounds like you've had some spalling - it happens. Throw some photos up and let's see how big of an issue you have before you try to smear some more concrete on. Just like with decks - prep is everything! Don't want the same problem next year :)

Randy - I put it in a general tools & equipment area since you're not selling :)

I hope you get sunburn on your ass :lgcold:

My winter project
Celeste replied to Chappy's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Your house is precious :) Nice job on the new front steps! We did a very similar job on my daughter's house last summer (except she has concrete steps) - with that type angled look though. -

I can't see anything - I don't have an account........:( -
We've found nearly identical wording from some of our printed material on another's website. Chalk it up to too much sharing on our part. Usually when we find our photos, an email is sufficient for removal. At the end of the day, there are only so many ways to talk about what you do....there's going to be overlap.

How you're noticed depends first on who your target audience is. You want homeowners, property management, or builders for example. All three will have completely different methods.

Probably should take a look :)
Thanks!

Most create their own......tailored to fit your own business needs. There are lots of programs that come on computers these days to do that. Word, Excel, etc... Probably won't find free form downloads on the web.......and if you do - remember, you get what you pay for!

Roger got some amazing cigars in New Orleans - watched the guy roll them right there - which was very cool! I know there will be a few broken out on the golf course in Myrtle Beach next month!

Winter activity-whats yours?
Celeste replied to Beth n Rod's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Project list is ridiculous but I have seemed to have mastered going around in circles :) We have kitchen renovation going on but the new floor developments coupled with some very cold temperatures have pushed finishing that project in the spring. We also have a couple of painting projects in the house that are being worked on....sort of, a little bit. -

help on a beach house bid
Celeste replied to master blasters's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Where ever you're finding your advise (besides here & SunBrite) - probably want to delete that link. There's more than 100 years wood experience right on this forum. Nothing personal, but this job sounds way above your head....at least by yourself. -
help on a beach house bid
Celeste replied to master blasters's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
First - it's not Roger (he doesn't frequent the boards very often:) ) You'll have to figure some way to block it then a shop vac would work to suck up and discharge to grassy (not beach grass!) areas. It will create more manhours. It's doable but it will definitely be challenging. I just hope you haven't given them a price yet - at least not based on the first calculations! What did you find out about occupants? That's darn near as bad as controlling your run-off! -
big deck, cheap bid
Celeste replied to Chappy's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.

More of a concern to me is how you plan to contain your wash water and prevent it from running all through was is left of those dunes? They are Federally protected you know ;) -

Celeste replied to master blasters's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
Let me get this right...... you have over 4000 sq ft PER BUILDING x 8 buildings = 32000 sq ft for 10-12K. holy crap. I'll tell you what - if they need more than one bid.....give them our name - you're sure to get it because we're waaaayyy higher than that. -
Anyone brave enough to post their New Year's Resolutions here? By doing so, you agree to be "checked-up on", "called-out on", and generally harassed to see if you're keeping them!
-
I am SO glad I'm not alone in that train of thought! I haven't made a New Year's Resolution in probably the last 4-5 years. I mess up enough without having the resolution failure on me as well :)

I will be nice to the newbies and try not to say "use the search feature!"

Fence Restoration
Celeste replied to weathershield's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
We have had instances of completely opposite results and are only 20 minutes away so our conditions would be comparable. Other applications have held well so it's not an across the board fail. -
Are you sure you can rip yourself away from that puzzle? :rotfl:

Nice link Douglas :) I think my printer might get busier!
