  1. Mr. Hinderliter, your knowledge and expertise is without question, but if you would indulge me I have some questions.

Why is it so important to "Shop" this BMP around? When I was told (Personally) by the ex-ED of the PWNA said they wouldn't. You're doing this and you know you are. What is the reason for this?

Why are Pressure Washers "Pigeon Holed" as "Polluters" in the eyes of the Regulators you speak to and know on a personal level? Why were they Grouped together with Major Environmental Criminals that do things that we as Contractors, not to mention Human Beings would never do?

Why did it take a small group of Contractors (that had no where near your knowledge, influence or expertise) to point out the Major Flaws and mistakes in they're targeting Pressure Washers in Houston? Why didn't Mr. Clark recognize the efforts of these Contractors in his PWNA announcement about the last Houston meeting?

Why is what we do still categorized as "Cosmetic Cleaning"? To me (And A Lot Of Others) this is a derogatory description of the service we provide. This term degrades the service, and Industry I represent.

Why disallow hot water? Emulsification also happens (To a smaller degree) even in cold water washing?

I have immense respect for you Robert, and my opinions in this matter are not swayed by outside personalities. What you're saying, and what you're doing seem to be totally opposite.

+10........Robert, you know me and my position on things that directly affect the contractor. I am right beside Guy in his questions. We have blindly followed for years.....but our eyes are opening - please explain your position(s) to the CONTRACTOR - as a person, an educator, not from the sales position you held for years.

    RIP Bobby

I found out from Trae in Charleston that Bobby Weir passed away. A neighbor found him dead on his front lawn. I met Bobby at the first Myrtle Beach Round Table he owned Coastal Hydropower and I met up with him at another MB RT and he was in Charleston too. Bobby was a very nice guy, we spoke several times over the phone. When I was going through some heated stuff with the ***** he called a few times and just said do what you think is right. Very supportive, straight up and nice guy. We use to talk shop at the RT's and on the phone and sent him some referrals. Sad

I was stunned that he died and at such a young age. Please send you prayers out and help with the college fund, he was a nice guy.

    Rest In Peace my friend!

  3. Rob, for decks that size, of course having more than one in a day would be preferable. We have a number of customers over that direction so if they are just here and there, we could probably combine. And considering how far out we are, maybe we could put together a promo to schedule multiples.

As far as what stain, we can generally swing homeowners to our way of thinking - it's all about educating them. Unless we know who washed and what the process is, we usually decline stain only simply because the last contractor to touch it gets blamed when it goes bad and we all know that proper prep is key to the job.

We're getting ready to get nailed with some huge-mongous medical bills so I doubt we're going to turn away much of anything!

  4. Well I certainly admire your persistence - you are definitely going to get this :) We would probably be inclined to (after ALL of that paint is sanded off) re-wash the deck and brighten to try and even up the wood a bit.

NO PAINT. You're going to want to use an oil based product - so you never have to go through what you are right now again! Are you planning to order a product or go to a paint or box store?
