Titan 440i is the airless we use for certain stains. It does need to be a heavy bodied stain for that though. A deckster will pay for itself with one deck if that is the route you want to go.

Hey pressureman101, i hope you read my post all the way through. I am very glad you spoke up to help. I was just pointing out that offering another product when there was a specific question raised about a product makes others think you are pushing a product as a covert vender. Please don't stop helping your fellow contractor. Others may learn from what you have to say my friend. Certainly no one in this thread was wanting you to stop contributing.+100!

What stain are you atomizing to death? The only thing to keep it from everything is what you're doing.
-
Pressureman.........please complete your signature properly. All 5 of your posts have been pushing products - are you actually a vendor?

I suppose I'm going to be the mean one here but (a) if you don't even know what you're putting down - you shouldn't be using it (b) it takes practice to use a surfacer on a deck and you have to know how to tip the thing in order not to make a huge mess. 300 ft isn't squat not to mention the round thing doesn't get to the edges.
You need to read about 1000 threads on wood care ..... or pick up the phone before you try anything else on a deck.
Sorry to be harsh but too many contractors here specialize in wood and have fought like hell to set a standard that you may have just dropped into the pooper just messing around.

Is there sodium hydroxide in RipIt?

Redwood behaves differently. It's just the way it is.

Can you put together an MSDS for that and are you going to be covered liability-wise when something goes wrong? Those few pennies extra that you MIGHT spend purchasing and utilizing a good, tried & true product could save everything you own. Just sayin'.

Do NOT try to put an oil over an acrylic. It will not work I promise. Did you do a test spot to see if it will come off or at least determine what is there? Have you explored flipping the boards if stripping is too expensive? Pics are always so helpful.

That is just plain gorgeous :)

Tim, while we very much appreciate the photos and info, please check with Beth (TGS owner) about posting as a distributor :)

What are they on?

I would hazard to guess that he was saying PWNA has 266 PAID MEMBERS and NCE has thousands of contractors that participate with his company. NCE is a privately held COMPANY, therefore, would not have members by the PWNA member standards.

Here's an interesting link: Right to Work States | National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation

OooRah!

Ron - aren't you supposed to be on vacation? You know - in that big ass condo overlooking the Pacific with the huge wrap around patio? Get off the boards and enjoy the view :)

All I can say is that (a) I am eternally grateful for the voices that told me to stay off of that BOD when offered a seat (b) I am more grateful that I did NOT renew my membership into an organization that will post such blatantly disrespectful and unfounded lies about not only a member but one of the most supportive members.
To Mike - remember my reference to a firecracker?
To the Board of Directors - although not a member.....I see only one course of action to redeem this sinking ship (again). Change ED's IMMEDIATELY.

LOTS of sanding....with lots of pay at the end :)
