  1. Need imput

Hello all, For those that dont remember me I am the "lurker" that has been around (but hiden) on this and other BBs awhile and piped in about Karry while I was in Iraq. Well now I have returned with all 10 fingers and toes. I am in the process of starting back up and dont think that my "old" name works. I had it about 10-15 yrs ago while in CO, and not sure what to think. It was/is AAA Mobile Power Wash. Should I just drop the Mobile? or change it all together? I plan on doing Commercial/Industrial and not much Residintial unless asked to do so. Any input would be greatful and if Celest would any Ideas on what I need to do with the powers to be in NC that would be helpful also. I am currently in Robeson Co in southen NC. Agin thank you for all that has been done from the "old" members with the help that I have recieved over the yrs even if I didnt make myself known. John P.S. I hope I put this in the right place...
  2. John Kerry - Did I say that?!?!

Hello again from Iraq, I AM wearing a uniform, and for 24 yrs now with 2 months of my year to go. It pains me to read some of the replys here. some talk about the handing of the flag to a family member, but try seeing the one that died, fight beside you for what he belived in, THAT my friend is pain, most that are here are doing what they think is right and are proud of what they do . It is thiers and others lives that give us all the right to ***** about the things that we do. but those of us that have served and are serving feel its whats right and its not all Iraqi people that are doing the killing here as there are many Syrians and others keeping this thing going. and the part about the photo being "set up" give me a break.... you need to go find another conspiricy. Over here we see whats going on and when someone says something stupid we jsump on it! got to have some fun over here :-). and yes I have been to other muslim countries, was 50 miles from beruit when it got blowed up in 83 also and many other places around the world. So I think that I can speak with experiance. Sorry I'll get off my platform now.
  3. Honest debate Iraq

Hello all, First of all I would like to commend all of you for sharing your views, as only this country will allow. I have been a member of this board for some time even if I don’t post very often. As a lurker, I would like to thank all of you for your valuable experience, and all that I have learned. I am no longer in the power wash biz as my family I and are ones that you are talking about. I come from a long line of military people. I am now in the army and have been for 25 yrs (active and reserve). My wife is an Active army nurse. We are BOTH in Iraq at this time. My son has just enlisted in the army and is in Basic training, to soon be on his way here, my other son is with friends in Ill, My wife has 2 sons with family back home, so I think I qualify to discuss all the hardships that are going on. Not to mention other members of my family that are in the military. I’m not really sure what to say here as so many have said so much. Some are right, and some are wrong. Some have done there own research, and some take the word of others as gospel without checking. I can tell you from here that its not pretty, but, there are so many good things going on here that NO ONE gets the opportunity to hear about. Remember, the media is a business. You cant make money unless you sell. Whether its *** or tragedy, that’s what sells. As an Operations NCOIC, I see first hand what the ppl here say, I deal with the Iraqi people all the time, some want us here and others don’t, but most do. Its really hard to explain unless you are HERE. I don’t care about the politics of the matter. I am here to help the Iraqi People, but its hard when others try to kill you. I was asked one time if “ I thought that we should be here”, My response was “ I am a soldier, If I think about WHY we are here then I cant do my job, and that is to make sure my team and I stay alive, If I have to worry about WHY we are here then I cant do that to the best of my ability”. You all back home are fortunate that you can watch the news, we don’t have much TV, or good internet where Im at. I have been to good places in this country where the only thing you have to worry about is an IED. Now, Im in Ramadi. You watch the news, so you figure it out whats its like here. To all of you that are former military, God Bless you all. Whether in peace time, or at war, you can understand what we do. To those of you that are not, your support is welcome. The people here are like you and me, they want to be free and do there own thing, and not be worried about someone trying to change their minds by trying to kill them for their religion, or who tries to help them. Most of the problem here is not the Iraqi people, but the insurgence from outside, and others taking advantage of the situation to just do bad things. I think that I might have gotten lost here and wondered a bit, I wont talk of the politics of the matter and cant talk of other things, but if you have anything further to say then I will respond given the internet holds up J. And once again this is a good thread, as no one has shot anyone yet, J Thank you for your support, and God bless. Sorry about the size of this. John

  6. Hello all, As a "lurker" on this and other boards for many years, the search function has finally failed me. I am thinking of branching into the wood stuff(decks and fences) so my question is this, How do you handle fences on the property line? to me this is a silly question, I mean how do you do the other side of the fence on someone elses propery? Who pays for that? and what if you cant get access to that side? Please help with this delimma as wood seems to a good thing to do also. And to add to a post a while back about what we do, I am a active duty soldier in the army here at Ft Bragg. so i dont have a booming biz like some of you. Yours trully John Shride
