Yes they did, it just wasn't much. He Mike, did you watch the prequel? It wasn't much but what was there was pretty good too. Scott

Come on Mike..You had to know we'd be talking about what happened. But it was a no brainer, I knew he was gonna have to deal with Curtis as soon as it started. In season 1 I didn't think Nina would kill Jack's wife. In season 5 more leads died than I thought a series could sacrifice. So to me Curtis was an easy one to figure out. I've got all five seasons on DVD. My biggest hope was when I was in LA last week was we'd walk up on them shooting a scene. Come to find out while watching last week, they shot on sixth & Figuero which was two blocks from the hotel. We walked there everyday. Guess I was a couple of months too late. Bummer!!!! Anyway Mike I'm sorry we spoiled it for you. Scott

Yeah I'm sure he could have but he had to be sure, after all it was the future of all mankind on his shoulders. It had to be a KILL shot. Scott

I think 24 fans need their own club house on this site. Build it Beth and I guarantee it will get more posts than the electrical and plumbing. Scott
  5. I'm in Los Angeles this week and am looking for things to see Saturday that you can see on the red line. We were supposed to take a bus tour with our group (we still may) but the tour details are starting to get sketchy. On a walk to Rite aid down the street we noticed the subway. It looks like it will take us anywhere we need to go bus or subway for $3.00 a day each. We want to see the Chinese Theatre and the walk of fame. My daughter(15 years old) wants to see the "Star" type attractions. It is just the two of us here. We have been staying at the Westin Bonaventura and can catch a subway a block down.We can go to other lines besides the red line if there is something cool to see another direction. Any help will be great Scott
  6. Pool place here use granular like your home. Nobody west of Tallahasee on the 1-12 corridor sells it at a pool supply reasonably. There was a place in Pensacola that sold it but you had to buy the two and a half gallon yellows that you Fla guys know of so well. They will only fill those and no drums, totes, or poly tanks. And it was still 2.50 a gallon. Scott
  7. Company website using others pictures

I won't either until there is either a major ethics realization AND reform or better yet a regime change. But for free I would remain a member if I were you. You will get more out of that than a banner ad that will net you zero in business. That's my opinion anyway. But if you don't want to be in the PWNA as matter of principal, THEN HATS OFF TO YOU!! Scott
  8. Company website using others pictures

I would propose giving credit on page to "PWNA member Vero Under Pressure". Then let them give you a free membership to the PWNA as long as the page is on the web. $395.00 is a lot better value to me than a banner ad. Scott
  9. Company website using others pictures

Absolutely not,at least in my mind. Scott
  10. Company website using others pictures

Coutesy????.........Hmmmmm........... Doubling of dues... Moving the convention without asking or informing Changing by laws without the proper vote Not disclosing the financials as dictated by law Never mind the PWNA doesn't care about their perception Scott

Plus in the future people may think Mel copied it from them. Another thought, can the PWNA now give permission to someone else to use it also. How specific was your verbal authorization? Scott
  12. Calling all Los Angeles Washers !!!!!

Thanks Matt Two more questions, 1) Where is the "Egyptian Theatre", and what is it? The name sounds famarliar to me but I can't place it. someone told me to go there. 2) If I take the blue line to Long Beach, it ends at the transit mall according to the map of the Metro. How far is that from the beach? Is there a place to walk on the beach there? Or should we just a ride a bus to Santa Monica and Venice Beach. We just want to see the Pacific Ocean. After all it's supposed to be a hard feeze here for the weekend and we didn't bring "winter wear" to sunny southern California for our trip.LOL Thanks Matt
  13. It will have to because I'm telling you there is NOTHING local. I'm in the chemical business and searched like you have to find anything local and nothing. Scott
  14. They have TSP I don't know about Borate? They are a commodity chemical dealer so they have about everything. If they don't have it there, they will transfer from another location and not charge freight. Scott
  15. I gave him info on UNIVAR in a PM. Scott
  16. respirator pics

We had a discussion about respirators in the roof cleaning forum. I had volunteered to post some pics of different respirators that I use. So the following will cover 3M full-face,3M half face, and Scott full-face.I will also post pics of pre filters as Chris at Apple says he uses them. I tried to take pics that would help someone compare the different styles in order to help them choose a respirator that both fits well and is comfortable. Scott
  17. respirator pics

These are the prefilters that Chris spoke of. The first is 3M and the second is Scott.
  18. respirator pics

This is me wearing the 3M
  19. respirator pics

This is the Scott on me
  20. respirator pics

May not be the best pics but the one on the left is the view through the 3M. The pic on the right is the Scott. You can see how cramped it is in the view. But when wearing it, it is not as bad as it looks.
  21. respirator pics

This is your typical lower price respirator. The only difference is the 3M quality of the cartridges. The respirator does not seal as well on me. The rear straps are pretty chinky to me. They are hard to strap together and adjust.
  22. respirator pics

This one is also comfortable to wear even though it has the tradional rubber straps. It has noticeably more perephial vision while wearing it. Plus the faceshield is so wide you don't feel as closed in as the Scott.
  23. respirator pics

This respirator is the esaiest to don and adjust. The view is somewhat less than the 3M full face. These also seal better but don't vent as well.Which means they fog up more than the 3M. They do make very effective anti-fog solutions to preventg this though. This is very comfortable to me because the mesh netting that goes over your head to secure it won't pull on your hair like the rubber straps.
  24. Chemical pit

Just get one of those 5 gallon a minute devalan pumps. At 5 gpm's you're tank on trailer would be filled in like 10 minutes. Just start pumping as soon as you get the trailer parked. Stop if not done and finish in the morning while gathering your stuff for the day. Scott

Anthony is right, Every state may be different if there are such legal guidelines. Our process structure may have 150,00 gallons flowing through it at any given time(25 vessels plus all related piping). Our spill retention is designed for the contents of the largest vessel plus a set amount of rainwater since it is not complely under roof. It is not designed to hold every drop just the contents of one vessel failure. That's why I said 6 separate drums because then(in my mind anyway) you only need to plan on one drum failing at any given time. This way you're only a couple of inches high in containment. Scott
