Just a comment or two. I agree that schools need to teach history and how this country came about. I also see it as a parents job. We need to teach our children values, morals and the ability to make good choices and yes, why our country is what it is. Sorry about the soap box. Just my views. I teach high school Math, Science and Social Studies. I served 21 years in the military, 6 enlisted, 15 as an officer. Retired. My son is in the military and is heading to Iraq the 27th of December. My son is the third generation for the military. Thank you for your support of our troops and your prayers.

Skunk Smell. Jeff, We had a bad skunk problem when we lived in the country around Gillette Wy. We had the dogs getting sprayed on a regular time schedule it seemed like. We used a lot of tomato juice. It got expensive so I called the local vet and he had us use powder Massengill Douche mixed to package directions. No kidding. Worked very well, one application, no smell. Kem

Greaserca, A note from Wyoming. Pay attention to the information in the forums because it is worth a small fortune. I started a part-time business this summer with used equipment. I have an accountant, insurance and my permits. I have set up some monthly accounts and am doing ok for a part-time job. The experence and information in this forum was what helped me take the first step. Take the feedback with a grain of salt, take what you feel might help you and file the rest. As far as equipment goes, remember the guys that started Cabela's sporting goods started out selling two hand tied flies with an ad in an outdoor mag. Good luck, Kem

All of the above is very good advice. The biggest thing is to enjoy them. When they grow up you will wonder when they were small and now all they want is the keys to the car. Because of lessons learned I spend all the time I can with my grandchildren. Kem

From a new power washer type guy. I would like to thank the members of this form for giving me some enjoyment reading your posts. I have learned much from you and this form before starting my small business. Yes, I am a part-timer, yes I like beer, yes I am in power washing for some summer fun money. No I am not a low baller. Yes, I researched and bought good (Nearly new used)equipment, yes, I am insured and have all required permits, yes I have a ladder, and yes, I even work when I am not fishing. I have not made much fun money this summer due to all of the above mentioned items, placing most of it into the business, to incliding joining PWNA. Again thanks for a great learning tool and information source. As a parting comment: Keep everything in perspective, Don't take things personal (thanks Beth and Rod) Life is really short as it is. Keep smiling. Kem (Lets go fishing)

Mike, I am a high school special education teacher, football and wrestling coach. I am doing this part time for extra summer fun money and to set my own work times. 2 days work, 5 days fishing in the mountains. It does not really work out that way but its a start. Kem (timbertramp) If any of you get to Sheridan Wy, Lets go fishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
