Rep. Den. I do not care, but we need to do what is best for the country and never forget our troops around the world. Whatever the plan, lets do it right and protect our troops and country.

Very true, I'm glad that people voted it into the constitution. Oh, the word vote again. Really now, thanks for voting. I was the 3rd one to vote in my voting place today, its just around the corner, but in my town almost everything is. Just a Quote or two for this day: The highest measure of democracy is neither the 'extent of freedom' nor the 'extent of equality', but rather the highest measure of participation. (A.d. Benoist) Then from (Abraham Lincoln) Elections belong to the people. It is their decision. If they decide to turn their back on the fire and burn their behinds, then they will just have to sit on their blisters. Jeff: A big hug for you. Have a wonderful day.

Just want to say I'm glad I live were I do. The good old USA. I really enjoy reading everyone's views. That is what our armed services do for us. Gives us the ability to say what we want to who we want within reason. Shrido, Hi, thanks for serving. If you see a redneck hummer with a bumper guard, racks, on the back and a Wyoming plate on it garding a convoy, tell my son Sgt. Price hi for me. Rod: sorry about your experence trying to get into the military. They have rules they have to follow. I know sometimes they seem dumb. Jeff: I love your views but you need a hug. Lol. Remember to vote or you cannot complain about our goverement.

Keth, just a note: Last time I checked with my son who is in Iraq, its the Iraq pepole that are doing most of the killing. You remember the news, car bombs, people strapping explosives to themselves and blowing people up. I have had the honor of giving some of the flags to mothers and fathers of lost soldiers so some of us do know how it feels.

Whats new. Our system was created by the elite and rich of our country at the time. What's changed. Every one of them is on the take in one way or another. You will have a hard time telling me that a person will spend millions to get a job that pays just a few hundres thousand dollers every four or two years, depending where they are at. Thats the way its been from day one. (Taxation without Representation) One reason for the big fight. Now we are taxed with representation and we are still not happy. (Electoral College) Started because communication was tough back then. Sure was but what a better way for the elite to control things. Notice we still have it today. I think communication is better. Sure things are not as good as we want. Hell I voted for Bush not because I thought he was the best but he was the lesser of the two problems. Was I correct, I don't know. I do know that I would not want to live anywhere else in the world. Been to a few other places and I like what I have. I have never been pro Dem or Rep. I vote a split ticket. I would really like to see some heavy By-partisan political work come out of the congress. To hell with political lines and lets work together to fix this great country. Write to your congressmen and women and let them know what you want, then write your views on posts like this but remember, your congressmen and women put these people in office. Blame them. Kem

Thank all of you for your support and service. I spent 22 years in the military and this wednesday, my son went back to Iraq after his 15 days leave. He spent most of it with his wife and daughter but we did get in one day of fishing in the mountains. He feels they are welcome in Iraq and are doing a good thing so that is good enough for me. Kem

You need to be careful on ebay. I got my pw system, truck, atv, camper and several small items off ebay. The main thing you need to keep in mind is any second chance offer must go through ebay. Check your (my ebay) messages. If it is a true second chance offer, it will be sent through My Ebay. My camper was a second chance offer. The other ones I do not even answer. One other thing, never send money through western union or any thing like that, and if an offer seems to good to be true, it could be a scam. Kem

Thanks, my granddaughter loves it. Kem

Ken, You are correct. I don't know you personally as you do not know me personally. You are also correct, I am emotionally involved with this. I have this problem of being emotionally involved with my job and I like it. It is very fullfilling and I love going to work. I am emotionally involved but I am also very objective. As I stated before in my first post, I sometimes have more problems with NORMAL people like your co-worker. Lets not compare apples, (NORMAL) who can advocate for themselves, with oranges, (disabled) who cannot. I guess we can agree to disagree. I am sorry if my words got you upset. After all they are just words, right? :)

James thanks for the reply and nice words. Downs is not a typo; it is a word that is used to cover several types of syndromes associated with the Downs Syndrome disorder. I would just like to say that the term retarded has been changed by our society to express a negative non desirable state of being as expressed by Dan’s examples. One needs to keep in mind the majority of the developmentally delayed people cannot express themselves well enough to object to the term. As Ken stated, I guess we, (as in me and I) have the problem because society has made the term negative, not the people the term was describing. Yes, I am the one with the problem and yes I will be the advocate for not using the term. Just a note: the disability of Autism is now the fastest growing disability in young children today. They do not know what causes it but they have lots of theories. None conclusive. I would like to say sorry if I came across to strong in my first post. I guess I look at things different than some people. Kem

I am going to put in my 2 cents in on this subject. I do not think this has anything to do with being politically correct. I think it has everything to do with being sensitive to the feelings of others not as NORMAL as you think you are. I have worked in adult workshops for the developmentally delayed and have been a special education teacher for the past 12 years. I can say without any regret that most of the people I have had the pleasure of working with in the above enviornments are more caring, honest and more fun to be around than most NORMAL people I have had to work with. It has nothing to do with being politically correct but being sensitive to another person's feelings and shortcomings. I guess as NORMAL people, we do not need to be aware of that. After all people with developmental delays do not have feelings, right!!!!!! Oh by the way Ken, did you visit with anyone in that hospital you visited or did you just go through and be a lookey loo at the AFFLICTED people. Just my 2 cents. If you don't like it you can kiss me where the sun does not shine. James you go man, you sound like a great parent. I just attended the graduation party of one of my students. He is downs and a wonderful person. Keep up the good work James. Kem

Financing/Loan – Who’s got it?
timbertramp replied to Hydroservices's topic in Business Topics & Tips
Just went to my credit union and they gave me a check for what I needed to buy. -
I will be in Seattle Wa. 31 Mar-2 Apr. to see my son off to Iraq. I will have some free time so I thought I would like to touch base with someone in the business. Would like to see another operation, setup or just talk. Any takers, talkers or coffee drinkers or some other type of liquid drink. Thanks Kem :)

I have several hand guns, both wheel and auto. If I was going to buy just one and not use it much, I would go with a single action .357. You can shoot .38 ammo and not have the big recoil. The most important thing is to take a firearms safety class and have your son take it with you. Most ranges or shooting clubs will be glad to assist you with the class and help you find a weapon that would work best for you. Kem

Hay, quit talking about the rubber boots, I'm from Wyoming, Where men are men and .............. are nervous. Kem :)

I use compressed air and blow out the system, pump hoses inlet and pressure. I use the connection I made for blowing out my sprinkler system at my house. Works great. This was suggested in my owners manual. We hit 19 below and I checked my machine and it is clear.

Seems to be a major problem for some. It's interesting to listen to the comments. Small trailer, cold water machine, low baller. I agree that people should have the knowledge, business plan and required permits to do a job. I was just wondering how many of you started out with all of the equipment you have now, the knowledge, the business plan and if you ever low balled a job when you were starting out. Please understand, I am not accusing, just asking. Kem

Carlos, they are in our prayers. Kem. PS. send me an e-mail.

Don, I am also a part-timer and I got my setup off ebay. I got a Landa hotwater machine(with only 90 hours) trailer, 300 gal. water tank, 100ft. high pressure hose, 150ft supply hose 20gal. assorted landa chem., fuel tanks, and a steel eagle surface cleaner. Assorted tips and other things on a 8ft trailer set up with hose reels for $6200. It was used but it saved me lots of money. I got a personal loan for the amount. It is really a summer job for me and it has worked out very well. Check with the local Landa rep as they sometimes have good used machines for sale. I am looking at a larger machine to reduce time spent on jobs. Kem
