  1. make own wood cleaner

i use a sodium hydroxide cleaner been using it for 3 years now just wondering if the sodium percarbnate would work trying to get cheap as possible.
  2. sorry dont know how to reply to somone individual thanks for the replys i think i am gonna try this....make my chemical from scratch This may also help others LOTS cheaper if it works....maybe http://www.chemistrystore.com/Percarbonate%20Formulations.htm#Wood%20Deck%20Cleaner%20and%20Stain%20Remove
  3. ZEP is horriable you have more figured out that most just the wrok chemical Homedepot may carry M1 deck and roof cleaner it is expensive but it works. i think the green tip works the best.
  4. cedar deck finish

i use twp200 i get alot of cedar railing decks and somtimes all cedar. i think the 200 series looks the best and lasts the longest
  5. i have never used them but just stained a small deck with porter on it even with sodium hydroxide cleaner it leaves a red pigment in the wood like cabot i reccomend using twp200 no matter what in sc i would use just a litte mineral sprits to help with penitration
  6. Overspray at Neighbors

i have simular problem dilute the chemical to approx what the washer would do. put it in a pump up sprayer. Shouldnt have a problem with the neighbors just rinseing the it down
