i really don't know a whole lot about these heaters i've seen some and they're rated a certain gpm is that the maximum gpm you can run through it and still achieve the desired temperature rise that they are rated for or is that literally all your gonna get through it and you'll hurt it if you go any higher or both? -

you don't think its necessary to go up to 5 thousand? i don't but if im going to drop some money its only an extra 200 to get the same put at 5k with 7gpm and i've bought a lot of stuff before and realized that it was obsolete after the fact just don't want to do that again .. i know it would be a fortune to get enough 1/2 house that would handle 5k -

yea 810f250 i am officially a junky i want two separate large volume rigs with heat on the same trailer i have about 600 feet of hose right now and i think 200 of it is 1/2 inch so that should be enough to get me started but i may not be able to get a diesel now i thought my dad had a few laying around at his shop but he gave one away and the rest are 6 cylinder and up but he does have a few 3 cylinder kubota water cooled gas engines that have been sitting and are mine to use if i can clean them up i hopefully one of those can handle two pumps thanks jim for your post on temperatures that different oils break down at i didn't know that i have another setup running about 10gpm now after i joined them is there any kind of industrial burner or hot water heater that you can retrofit and make work to heat close to 25 gpm i don't want to have to run like 3 burners im not going to have enough trailer space because im going to have my roofwash polytank and pump on their too -
im looking into getting a few more pumps i have two units right now that im going to join together for flatwork .. and im thinking about getting two more pumps and joining them together has anyone ever tried the 4,000 psi 7gpm north star pump? If you have used it did it just fall apart or did the quality surprise you? Don't think ill get one unless i know that they are well built even though i could get about 3 years of protection on it but the down time could cost me much more then the pumps worth .. also im sure someone has tried one of the larger belt driven annovi reverberri pumps how are they? thanks John
-
yea im aware of that i don't think ill be buying any direct drive units anytime soon ..
-
i guess i can get the xwa with the same specs for a lot cheaper AR 3500-4000 PSI XWA-M Series Pumps
-
so AR are actually pretty good pumps? I always thought they were a lesser grade pump then GP. Im really considering buying two of these NorthStar Pressure Washer Pump — 7 GPM, 4000 PSI, Model# TWS7040S | Pressure Washer Pumps | Northern Tool + Equipment and joining them together i just don't know what kind of quality they are but they have a really good warranty on them and getting a huge surface cleaner to hook them up to.

An idea for removing latex paint from decks
John.Harper replied to plainpainter's question in Residential Pressure Washing
i've done a deck with a floor sander used to finish hardwood floors just have to be really careful about the wood dust that comes up there will be nasty stuff in there if its pressure treated -
I have been getting my chemicals from bob at pressure tek but im gonna try buying bulk chemicals. I found a good deal for 250 pounds of sodium hydroxide and 200 pounds of oxalic im just not sure what concentrations are safe. Does anyone have any insight on this?
-
just thought it could save me some money i do have access to someone with a doctorate in chemistry just figured with the hydroxide it'd just be as easy as adding surfactants guess im wrong
