Do you have water at the pump going in?

Ya know that's not that bad of a rig if it is a low baller rig. To me a low baller rig is on aisle 33 at my local home depot. In our area the amateurs go to Prince$s Auto and get electric units.

You lucky Dawg:) we do Garages on Sundays as well. How cold is it by you now at night? Where still hitting the freeze #'s causing for this week alone, 2 cracked metal balls valves and one general TSF 2021 pump to possibly have ice damage on the inside. Opening that one up later today as I tinker. It's well above freezing and has been for weeks. It's go go go go go season! Got another 800 car garage we are doing Tues/Wed followed by another 2 big ones next week. All this on top of the other things I've got going on. Makes for a long week sometimes.

Every Sunday it seems until summer hits. Today we are doing a 400 car garage. Sweepers/Scrubbers/wash walls and ceilings.

How about Willie Taitsak from BioClean? It's 3 words that are just funny to me!

And I was expecting another thread arguing about who did what in Texas first.........

I've been washing full time since 94 but worked with as a helper since 89. Washed a few items in those years :)

I think that starting a business is a case by case scenario. After 8 years of military service I think now that at age 24 I feel I am ready to take on the challenge of starting my own business part time while keeping my full time employment. Everyone matures differently, I think that without a strong work ethic and discipline it would be very hard to make a start up business work. I am going through thick and thin to start my business while bouncing around all the other elements I feel that at age 24 for me is the best time. Grab the bull by the horns and go for a ride. I have no mortgage yet, only personal bills and toys so the risk factor is still minimal. If I face plant it's now and not when I have a starving family and big bills to pay.I watched the news last night........maybe a snow removal division might be a good winter option for you as well! That was alot of snow on the ground in Montreal!

WE use an insulated stainless pipe with a flip style lid and haven't had a problem in over 23 years. Once in awhile someone will forget to open the vent and it gets a little smokey in the truck but other than our own stupidity it works well.

The used equipment is a couple locals that are getting out. Email me. mikew@aquafleetsolutions.com and I'll get you the details.

I'm also in Canada and know of a couple units that will or are available. I've got new equipment if you want that route.

I'm interested in seeing the answers. We were thinking of doing a full maintenance lease on washers in our local area. Will cover everything except abuse and hoses. Return it in 3 years for a new one and away you go. Still crunching some numbers before I make any decisions.

In our wash business our insurance requires our equipment to be bolted to the unit it's being hauled on to be covered. Did you have it bolted down?

I include wax in my best package. It takes at most 10 minutes to apply to a large house. My spray wax has a 1000-1 ratio and the 4l i have lasts for years. I forget were i got it from.I'll bet I know where you got it from!

I know a guy with a Hot N' Mighty that is looking to get out of it. It's one of the chopper trailers and I know it has no hours on it. The only hitch...... (he may deliver) is that it's in Western Canada. If interested contact me and I'll put you in touch.

I've two stepped a few houses for painters before with good results. Not something I'd recommend if you don't know how to do it as you could damage things. Hire someone who knows how to do it and you shouldn't have an issue.

The oldest one we have has 1000 hrs on it. I don't keep equipment long enough for it to break. I would freak out if I had a unit with 4000 hrs on it. I've had Alkota's, Mi-T-M's, & Landa's....guess Hydro-Tek is next. They are barely broke in yet! I've got stuff with well over 10,000 hrs on them. I've actually got a burner that is 23 years old and still making us money!
