As I have been told the gas stations raise the price of inventory so that they can afford the higher gas price that is arriving, but often wonder how they know when it will increase or decrease.Sounds / looks like insider trading to me

I have to bid on a huge 3 story brick house. The brick is very dark and has white stucco shutters. The guy that did the shutters splattered his mix all over the place. With a key I scraped a little of it off the brick to test how easily it would come off,it is different than what I usually see.It has an almost rubbery consistancy and does not readily come off.Has anyone seen this before?Any suggestions on how to remove it? I saw some evidence that some one had tried to scrape some off and really messed up a few bricks in the process .Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hurricane cleanup advice wanted!!!!!
baronas replied to Adrian's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I feel your pain,I too have searched endlessly for nothing.I will be going to Slidell.I have a contact that is a ceo of a vinyl siding company who is from Louisiana. He has been in contact with the Govenor and has worked out a deal to open a warehouse over there. He is planning to stop price gouging on siding,he said there are several places quadrupling the price.Part of his deal is to donate 10% back to the cities and 19% to the red cross. From what he has told me (and he is very reliable) many regulations are being loosened for disaster relief work.He said going before november would be a waste of time.I will be there and will be using his warehouse for storeing my rigs and cleaning supplies.Instead of just showing up you should visit there a couple of times, some still dont have water, get you a local phone number set up and become part of the community for a while;unless you are just going after government contracts those dun # and other things are not necessary. -
I knew all that bs would happen,if folks would burn down their city when thier team wins a championship game hell why not now?

How do you figure your hourly rate?
baronas replied to One Tough Pressure's question in The Club House
I dont do an hourly rate, cant imagine watching the clock instead of the quality of the job.Besides I cant do fractions so I would go crazy if a job went 7 minutes into an hour. -
Taking Private Land for Private Businesses
baronas replied to MeiersEnterprises's question in The Club House
Down here in southern/middle GA land is almost sacred. It is passed on generation to generation to ensure the family will always have something. My own great, great, great grandfather has left a thousand acres of land to his great, great, great grandchildren and everyone in the family is in accordance to his wishes. So far no-one has ever needed it to sell to stay afloat. We take care of each other to prevent that from happening.Hate to think what would happen if some-one decided to take it for a strip mall or whatever. When he purchased it this town wasnt even a town, but now the land is surrounded by interstate. We are getting nervous. The taxes we pay for the land is more than he originally paid for it.Think about that! -
wowee I have heard the early bird catches the worm.Beth and Rod,when do you guys sleep?Seen a lot of very early morning posts.

I lost a $450 roof job today to a true lowballer/idiot.2800 sq ft and the deal was done. When I arrived at the house a guy was pressure washing the driveway but I wasnt too concerned because I was there to do the roof. The woman came to the door and invited me in...to be fired. The other pw guy had been there for a hour and was just finishing the driveway(he used no chemicals)he did however use his surface cleaner, a 20 incher. The woman was explaining to me that this guy was doing the house, roof and driveway for $250.While inside I saw through the window a surface cleaner rise through the air and chuckled. The woman asked what was funny I said nothing and went to leave.Just as I was pulling off of the curb the pw guy came flying off the roof.He had been swinging his surface cleaner around lost his balance and bam.He wasnt hurt too badly and wouldnt let us call for an ambulance guess why?Yep no insurance.Dontcha just love it?
