Yep Chris .. It has 3/4 pipe threads in the knockout .. I turned the tank on it's side and then put a 3/4 pipe fitting in the bottom and rand the hose to the machine .. I have a better filter in it now.. also I am going to be installing a float valve in the top of it tommorrow.. I will post a few pics///

Hey Pat .. Man whats been going on .. I was in New Albany about a month ago .. I will be back in about 3 months .. I will call ya.. This month I have to go to tupelo, Boonville, Baldwyn and then Marks and Charleston...Then for march its all down south work..

I keep the beads dry and add a cup of Beads to a squirt of dawn and then fill the pump up sprayer with super hot water until the pump up sprayer dances in the sink... Been doing it this way for 20 years now. Just dont put your head over the pump up sprayer when adding hot water..

I would probably start by looking at the valves in the pump head .. Sounds like trash in the valves.. I also always put a little bleach in my tank, When the water is going to be sitting for a while which normaly does not happen much..I would do what everyone else said and if it doesnt fix the problem I would check the valves in the pump head as check your unloader to see if its gunked up..

Thats right .. I sent out over 100 sales flyers last week and this morning got 7 phone calls all wanting quotes on hood cleanings and fire inspections.. It is going to be a busy week. We are offically rolling.. This week alone we have 7 estimates , 8 jobs and alot of driving to do..

just wonderering what everyone uses to cover there skid unit up if it is on an open flatbed trailer... I had thought about buying a heavy tarp or maybe constructing something .. But I want it to look nice and be easy to put on and remove.. Someone said that they make covers for the pressure pro skids but I cant find them anywhere.

Thanks Beth and Rod I checked it out and the prices look very reasonable .. I got to go do some measuring now.. How does yours anchor is it elastic on the bottom are does it have gromets.. Cause you know I drive like a maniac going down the interstate .. Dont want it to blow off...

Not to start an argument but I had a Landa along time ago back in the early 90's , while it is a well built machine you can do just as good in a machine for alot less.. I was real happy with my whitco unit,,and I am also fairly happy with my pressure pro unit.. They are all just names and name brands .. If you maintan them well they will last, and if you dont they will fail.. Simple... This is just from 20 years experience .. Change your oil, filters , check your belts, check bolt tightness, keep your rig clean and keep it tuned up and most of all now winterized and it will last.. And as far as General pumps ( example TS-1511 on my old whitco ) 7 yrs old .. rebuilt once and still going strong )

Hey I tried out my downstream injector that came with the pressure pro unit and wow it worked great with 200 feet of hose.. It's a shame I want be using it much I don't really like downstreaming caustic ,, got to stick to my pump up sprayer.. But as far as soap goes it did a pretty good job washing my wifes car and my truck AND THEN ( Rain happened ) Crap!!!!

In my trailer toolbox I have my boots, then standard hand tools, standard battery powered tools, standard Fire Inspection Tools, a leaf blower, 2 squeeges, 5 wands , a bunch of machine parts , a ton of O-rings and Clamps and Wedges and right now about 12 rolls of plastic.. In my truck box I have standard tools , standard power tools, Standard Fire Equipment tools and fittings for the nitrogen tank thats in my truck bed.. Then all the expensive stuff is behind the back seat.. Thank God I live behind the police station.. (Since we moved a year and a half ago no more break ins ...)

I had this happen on my whitco and it ended up that a piece of ice had damaged a valve in the pump. I changed out the valve and all was fine .. it is really a cheap fix.. If you get trash ( even a small piece in the valves it will cause it to pulsate .. Be careful when you put the big nuts back on the pump that you do not crimp an o-ring.. I have also seen a hairline crack in the water filter cause this as well .. And in the worse case you may need to repack your pump.. How does the oil look in the pump ? has it got water in the oil ?

Hey Celeste I always wondered about the storm drain.. law that some states have ?? What if you accidently spill soap on you driveway when you are cleaning you car .. and then it rains nd washes dirt down the storm drain.. What is the difference in cleaning your concrete with just hot water vs a rain storm washing your driveway??

Around 11,000... This includes the fire equipment stuff , hood cleaning stuff , my old truck that I bought for 2500 years ago ... It is setting up now waiting to be sold.. My biggest expense was insurance.. Now with the new stuff just in the past year and a half we have purchased about 25000.00 dolars worth of ( truck, machine,trailers,and fire equipment stock... ( Dang I am Broke )

I always liked Honda .. But my new skid has a 18hp briggs on it and it ourrs like a kitten ... The Vangaurd is a little louder to me than the honda but no big deal.. If it runs and makes money .. Thats good for me

I started out as a lowballer in 1991 .. I worked for a guy who was trying to put his brother out of business.. He told me go out and do fire equipment , sales service and recharge , also clean vent hoods.. He bought me a truck, A Landa Machine and Fire Recharge Equipment and gave me an office... I cut everybody's price... It lasted a few years and the a company called Equinox bought us out .. and I trained them how to clean vent hoods... The Question is am I a Low Baller.... Sure why not .. I got 20 years experience , I do a great Job ,,,, and If I can beat a price and make money then there you go ... LOL ( Early Morning Snow Hangover )

You gotta love the burner stack made out of air condition ducting LOL.... I would go with stainless steel for the stack it will last alot longer .. Trust Me ( From Experience ) Have a sheet metal shop make you a vent and vent it out the back of the box on your truck

Just a quick ? .. I am going to put a float valve on my water tank .. Most of the valves I see are 300 gallons per hour... So at only that that is 5 GPM .. Thats the same thing my machine puts out so if I run it steady out of a 60 gallon tank .. I will be close to the gpm limit of the float valve.. Anyone see any problem

I live on the rule ... 1 machine = 1 guy .. 2 machines = 2 guys.... Heck I am 43 years old and can reel in and reel out 200 to 300 foot of hose by myself, clean and pack up ..pretty quick.. Most restaurant owners ask me where my help is , I simply tell them I only have one machine ... That pretty much answers the question... I hired a few people back in the day and they pretty much just watched me clean .. I save time by doing it myself//and time is $

Actually I have Blue (R2) Non Marking 200 foot ( Actually 2- 100 foot sections of hose on a hose reel.. I also have my garden hose on a hose reel. It makes it easy..

Its just me but I really like my pressure pro... I have a whitco as well and that thing lasted 8 years.. So I don't know .. For the money I would say pressure pro..
