Yeah that won't last long// Give it a month and then when they call you back go up 25.00 .. Most intrioir guys just use a small machine and only do the front entrance for free
  3. Have you got a tank or are you running a hose staight to the machine .. How is your bypass run ??? I always run mine with the burner on , but thats cause I clean Vent Hoods .. I hve run it on cold before a few times and I do know if you let it bypass for a while even in cold the water will get a little warm but not much..
  4. mixing bleach with soap???

I thought you were gonna say ammonia..... LOL Got to love the smell of chlorine gas... I do not ever use bleach.... Unless I have to kill some mold are something ... For Concrete I always use caustic or just hot water and the " very famous" absolutly marvelous homemade surface cleaner... ( THAT I BUILT WITH MY OWN 2 HANDS )

  6. The Fly By's are out tonight

Well I went out tonight and put out my postcards on restaurant doors as usual.. This time I went thru Flowood MS. It has been about 2 weeks since I went on this route.. Well anyway I ran into the Home Depot Pressure washing Guy.. Cold water machin int back of a Toyota truck With about a 150 Gallon Water tank.. Hmm. He was cleaning BYB with a Wand.. Then went further down the road saw someone ( Maybe an employee) at Chedders Cleaning the dumpster area with a nice 2 gpm Electric Husky Machine and what appeared to be a zero tip nozzle. I also passed by another cleaning outfit not sure who it was but they had I huge water tank , funny thing is I didn't see the Pressure Washer HMM ! Night before Last My competitor passed me on the interstate and I dont need to mention what he did but it was not very professional IMO.. Maybe I should call the owner of the company.. LOL.. Well I ended up putting out 25 postcards .. I dont know why I do this as I am already so busy, I guess I use this as an excuse to get out of the house for a couple hours on the weekends..

  10. Hey Big Mike I noticed that you clean Burger Kings Concrete .. Do you deal with the California Company .. ( Something Restaurant Corp ) When I used to clean them I know that around the drive thru windows they had an extra load of bubble gum every month..
  11. Mine that came with the pressure pro machine quit after using it two times in one week.. I think I will just stick with a pump up sprayer ... It has proven to be more reliable and this way chems will not tear up my hose..
  12. New Orleans Photos & Video of Event 2010

Thanks Ron... We in Mississippi got to love the Saints .. I think it's the closest MS will ever get to a Pro Team... If I could have made it to NO I would have had to wear my BREES Jersey

  14. This might be funny if it weren't so darned true. Be sure to read all the way to the end: Tax his land, Tax his bed, Tax the table At which he's fed. Tax his tractor, Tax his mule, Teach him taxes Are the rule. Tax his work, Tax his pay, He works for peanuts Anyway! Tax his cow, Tax his goat, Tax his pants, Tax his coat. Tax his ties, Tax his shirt, Tax his work, Tax his dirt. Tax his tobacco, Tax his drink, Tax him if he Tries to think. Tax his cigars, Tax his beers, If he cries Tax his tears. Tax his car, Tax his gas, Find other ways To tax his ass. Tax all he has Then let him know That you won't be done Till he has no dough. When he screams and hollers; Then tax him some more, Tax him till He's good and sore. Then tax his coffin, Tax his grave, Tax the sod in Which he's laid. Put these words Upon his tomb, Taxes drove me to my doom...' When he's gone, Do not relax, Its time to apply The inheritance tax. 16. my new toy

I had to sell my 1980 Mustang Ghia Fastback .. It came with a 302 ... But got a 351 windsor upgrade.. The first of the foxbody mustangs .. My wife made me do it .. Now my only Toy is my FX4 truck.. Oh well .. I do have a Mach 1 that is at my father in laws house that needs ALOT of work.. Also sitting right next to it is a Ford Thunderbird with suicide doors that has a big dent in the fender.. These will both be project cars one day...if I ever find the time to do anything besides clean hoods .... My new steam cleaner is only a month and a half old and it has already paid for itself twice over.. We did 9000.00 the first month with it..

  18. I am just curious to know... I have seen a bunch of them online like sirocco ( which we use ) , Hydrotek, Mytee and so on .. But who really built the first one..
  19. Ok on the whitco I had someone build a flue cover for the burner., but on the pressure pro I have the bunch of holes at the top back of the machine .. I went to the metal fabs here in jackson an d asked how muc to make me a 90 degree flue and he said about 125.00.. thats a little much .. I was thinking about running a modified rain cap , Just wonderering if there will be a heat issue having a rain cap over the burner vent holes ..
  20. Ok you take a 30 or 55 gallon drum then you mount a 2 stage or 3 stage vac motor to the top like the photo and then put you a drain hole with a cap are pump out in the bottom .. or maybe put 2 - 2stage vac motors with a Y on Top to hook them together..
  21. Jerry I know .. But in my spare time when I get really bored wich is about 5 hours out of the day .. I always strive to build things.. I am not really trying to improve the design but simply see if I can build one myself... In some form or fashion we all have an inventive nature about us. We have all strived to build a better mouse trap over the years.. Heck look at the guy who invented the flipable toilet paper roller.. Same roller just a unique twist. I built my own surface cleaner years ago and it's still going strong.. The fact is that after looking at the sirocco vac unit that we have and the mosmatic surface cleaner that we have , it doesnt look to complicated to build.. But you are right warranty is agood thing and buying one thats already put together would save me time to actually work.. the sirocco vac that we use has 200cfm at 137 inches of water lift , it is a 30 gallon metal drum , powdercoat red... the surfacer is 21 inch (shell in shell ) design mosmatic.. I am doing the project to see if I can do it.. I in the past have built a surface cleaner, wet vac with pump out feature , gas powered 9hp wet vac , and a improved x-jet nozzle.. Oh yeah and my duct spinner... It's all just for fun anyway.. Heck yesterday before the SAINTS tore up the Colts I spent 8 hours on the Auto-Cad designing the Surfacer shell... I also have decided to go with the Amtech vac motors , but I may have to use a generator to power them because of the amp draw.. The only thing that really gets expensive is the tools to design the things I want to build.. but since I only work at night , I have to have something to do during the day.. I will keep you informed of how this turns out .. It will probably take the better part of 3 months to build this unit.
  22. Ok I talked to a guy that sales MYTEE surface cleaners and he said CFM is more important than waterlift , but I have heard different .. So my biggest problem is running 2- 104 cfm motors to get 208 cfm at 134 inches of waterlift the amp draw would be way over 24 amps... Thats not including the sump pump out... So if I only use one vac motor I could do it but I dont think I would have enough cfm at only 104.......The water lift would be fine .. But I dont think 104 cfm would pull water thru 50 ft of hose.. But with one motor my amps would be 12.5 for the vac motor and about 7 more amps win the pump out kicks on..
  23. .. Will 104 cfm at 134 inches of waterlift out of this 3 stage motor , work on a surface cleaner ...(vac) How Much Vac hose could I run
  24. Well we started work yesterday at 2pm.. Cleaned 2 pretty good sized vent hoods , and then cleaned a big interior floor.. One side with the sirrocco and one side with another surface cleaner .. Left the job at 10 pm I woke up this morning with the worst headache.. And now we have to go back Today at 2 pm and work some more.. Here are a couple of pics I will get a few more tonight..
  25. It was confirmed today that my preesure pro machine looks empty on one side .. One side has the 18hp motor , the pump and the generator.. the other side just has a battery box.. I was thinking about sliding the machine to one side of the trailer a little more and them put my water tank beside the machine on the empty side .. I also thought about having some custom tanks made to go on that side of the machine .. Maybe a 60 gallon water tank and a 20 or 30 gallon chem tank to fit next to the machine.. I am just not happy with my trailer setup ..
