The more we grow, the more employees we have to train. Training is always a tedious task, while we try and look for employees with experience pressure washing their previous training is very basic at most. We encounter so many different types of cleaning jobs its hard to have all your employees completely trained on all types of jobs. I even find myself doing research and having to train myself occasionally when jobs come up that we have never done before. We are in the process of creating an employee training manual , training videos, and chemical guides. What kind of procedures do you guys use to keep your guys properly trained???

This year must have been the year for frying turkeys on the patio. We have been booking a lot of jobs to removing cooking oil stains on concrete and pavers. Some we are getting great results and others we are not. We have used degreasers, oven cleaner, and good old Dawn. Surprisingly Dawn have been giving us the best results over all, but some of these stains are extremely stubborn and once the area dries it doesn't look like we did much at all. I was wondering if there is anything that will work better to get these oil stains out.

Some of these green chemicals have and EPA number on them. According to the guy trying to sell these products, he claims that this number makes anything cleaned with the products safe for disposal in storm water drains. This just seems too good to be true. I have tried doing research online about it but haven't come across any information to prove or disprove it. Does anyone know anything about this? One of the products breaks down the hydrocarbon in oil and is supposed to turn oil into water.

Cooking Oil from Deep Frying Turkeys
AZPowerWash replied to AZPowerWash's question in Residential Pressure Washing
After seeing that turkey fryer fire demonstration video its amazing how many people don't know the dangers of frying a turkey and how many people do it on their patios and close to their house. Thanks for all your input on this, I am going to pick up some Hydroxide and try it on a property we have scheduled later this week.
