Hello everyone, Would like to thank everyone here for the informative posts, your experience and knowlegde are really helping me out :) I'll be mostly reading through old posts for now and bother you all with questions in the future. Really happy to have found this place. I work for my father who recently purchased a pressure washer to clean our deck and I thought hey, not bad. So I started reading into deck restoration, and its become quite the adventure so far. I've learned how not to damage wood with the pressure washer to reduce sanding time, how quickly stripper ( we are currently using Behr ) can burn leaves ( my aunts cottage so its cool ), and that being armed with right knowledge, can provide me and my customers with long lasting, fruitful relationships. For the last couple of jobs we have been using Behr line of products for stripping/nuetralizing and Flood penetrating oil stain, which were recommended to us by our friend, who has a friend, who's friend used it on his deck and had good results even with our cold, harsh Canadian climate. So we're doing it right but we're not doing it right, the calls are coming in quick and I've got some studyin' to do. See ya'll around.
