I love the Hurricane brush.........just watch out when doing elevated decks with something underneath of them, the spray can go between the boards if you're not careful.
-
Cleaning it could make the situation worse.................make sure your tires are properly inflated and that might reduce the likelyhood of leaving marks.
Concrete driveways are only found on about 1% of houses up here though......

I can take a look at that, give me a call at 215-723-8774 or email me the info. mike@evclear.com
Thanks,

The only way to clean windows with a power washer is to rinse with DI water.
You spray a window cleaning soap on, use a scrubber to scrub the window (on extension pole for second floor). Then rinse with DI water.
You have the customers remove the screens prior to your arrival, if you are just doing exteriors.

The slogan is great, but "Wood Tux" really doesnt flow off the tounge.............
Back to the original question, more often then not, I brush the railing and spindles, and spray the floor with a shurflo sprayer (I use an AC powered Deckhand sprayer).
I can't wait to try that new "Hurricane Brush".

We do mostly houses and decks, and often add on patios, sidewalks, and pool decks.

Rod,
Maybe you should get your own user name, so we know exacty when it's you............and we can hold you accountable for that last statement.
The other thing you could do is mount the shurflo in the trailer and have about 300' of hose for it on a reel...........so you dont have to drag carts all over the place. Of course, you could disconnect the cart from the reel and make it mobile if you need to...................thats an ideal set up to me.

Nothing is carved in stone..........I always discount larger jobs............everyone else does. Especially jobs that have really large flat areas.........that can be easily sprayed.
If the large job entails alot of detail work, you may want to not offer as much of a discount.

Nice house, Chuck........when are you moving in?? :)
Are you going to try to talk the homeowner into sealing the driveway after settlement?
-
Hot water is not necessary for house washing. Although there is a chance it will work better, the risk to plants and the hot hoses burning grass, etc..............not to mention extra fuel costs, are not worth it.

How confident are you that it gets all of the water out? Whats the coldest temps you've subjected your wash unit to using this technique without having a problem?
I sure hate messing around with antifreeze.
How's this for clean gutters?

I've been using Gutter Zap since September of 1999..........and I love it. If the gutter zap doesnt take care of it, I dont go nuts trying to clean the gutter.............you have to draw a line somewhere............go crazy on something and watch your profitability fly away with the breeze........ Customers always seem to be happy, regardless of whether I think they could have come cleaner if I brushed them..........
