  1. Anyone in Kansas?

Is anyone in Kansas intereezted in some Clarke carpet machines? They r big. Great for school hallways and big areas. If interested plz message me. Don't have to b in Kansas but shipping probably cost to much. Thanks everyone
  2. Sodium hydroxide block!

All right I messed up everyone. Left the lid off the bucket of sh and it got rained on. About 1/4 of the bucket is now a solid chunk. I've broken off as much as I can with a hammer and chisel. But it's so solid now I can't do anything with it. If I had to guess if say its about 15 lbs. can I just add water and let it melt for a day or two and just use it as a concentrate? Thanks for any advice
  3. Sodium hydroxide block!

With shipping a new bucket is around 100$ I think. I'm just the worker not the one who pays the bills. Just trying to fix my mistake
  4. injector problem

Yes up to 33% of what comes out when drawing is chemical. Which is alot
  5. injector problem

The super suds sucker will draw up to 33% and u can use up to 300' of pressure hose. And they last quite awhile if taken care of
  6. injector problem

U put spring, ball then that thing screws in and that's how u hook up your draw hose. Unless I'm mistaken of the parts provided
  7. injector problem

Does it have a ball a spring and that screw?
  8. injector problem

Envirospec has the best injectors that I know of. Check out the Allison super suds sucker
  9. How long of a hose can I use

That's how we do it. If we r not pulling around all of your hose put the injector 100 ft from end and it will cut down in the draw time.
  10. Yes joe Walter is good. But. The underwriter company's they use r garbage. Farmers and liberty mutual. We had a wreck way back on July 3 and still trying to get paid from them. We got rear ended and they investigated it for a month! Crazy.
  11. New equipment critique

I've never run an 8gpm machine but I can only imagine the power. We don't haul water for our jobs. And if we did 8gpm will go thru it pretty fast and I suggest hot water for concrete. Especially if there oil and such on it. Just my two cents
  12. Check supplier

We use Bank of America. They have mobile check depositing. Dl an app and take pics of check. Money is there the next day. Great for long trips
  13. Did u get the pulley off? What did u do?
  14. Russ thank u for knowing the technical terms for all that. I feel less smart now lol
  15. Hmm. The set screw could b underneath the pulley. Or it might not have one. I have very little experience with belt driven machines but I think that most pulleys have set screws on them. Or it could just b pressed on there which will b pretty tough to get off. If there's no screw when u do get a puller hooked up u could take a propane torch and heat up the pulley itself which will expand it a tiny bit. U could b in for a fight. The puller u want will have three bars and a point in the middle. The bars have hook like thing on it which will go behind the pulley and the center thing goes on the shaft and u just tighten the puller and it should pop off. Sorry for the long post
  16. Does it have a set screw that has been tightened against the keyway?
  17. What could be wrong??

Like said before we have same machine. There is no baffle down there and it's not your engine. U can clean the fuel pump filter easily just take off four hex bolts and there it is. Just b sure u shut off ht e diesel valve. Do u have a pressure gauge on the fuel pump? Have u looked at yur fuel nozzle?
  18. What could be wrong??

I doubt it's the soot remover we use it also.
  19. What could be wrong??

We have the same exact machine. We've had a few probs like that to. Try the airband like u said and I'll think about it today and if it doesn't work let me know. Pm me if u want
  20. Would appreciate some opinions

Best thing to do is figure out your operating cost and all that good stuff. Then add some cushion and some profit. For the company I work for we wouldn't touch a house or driveway for less than 400 each but our cost is a lot more than yours
  21. Would appreciate some opinions

Both nice equipment Matthew. I'd b happy with either one except I prefer my surface cleaner with wheels. But to each his own. How far from home ru goin to college?
  22. Would appreciate some opinions

Matt I understand u don't want the expense of hot water. But mayb just mayb u could get lucky and find a cheap hot box. It's a portable burner u can hookup when and if u do need it. And be careful putting bleach thru yur downstreamer it can b hard on guns and hose seals. And plus when yur thru with the low pressure u have high pressure bleach flying everywhere. Just my two cents
  23. Would appreciate some opinions

Check auction sights such as eBay and equip-bid.com. Lots of good stuff on there. As far as building yur own surface cleaner I doubt it would be that easy or we would all do it.
  24. Snow

We got four inches here a couple days ago. So ready for it to b nice. Looks like today is going to b in the high 60s. Gotta love kansas tho
  25. Trigger gun and lance

If u have a good ball valve on yur hose u can go without a gun. Reduces hand tiredness and is a lot easier to run.
