    Dan - I get it now. I thought you said to mix E Plus with Sodium Hydroxide. Usually when people say "SH" they mean sodium hydroxide. Whew.

    Dan, I think you misread my ? What I asked was - Did you ever use E Plus mixed with bleach on alum siding? If so, did it get the mold off and clean well?

    E Plus worked great for me many times. If anything, don't use SH!

    Thanks Mike & Beth. I used E-Plus without bleach. I washed it with a chem tip. I love washing with chem tips, I feel like I'm in more control. I stripped a deck 2 weeks ago with a chem tip and it worked great.

    Thanks Celeste! Actually, I did not know that there was so much crap up there until I actually got up there in the lift. I just said to myself, "Oh well, I'll just duck!" My wife was REALLY glad to see me come home that day!

  16. Just tarp the railings with a 9X12 canvas tarp. I never tarp the house. If you are spraying the floor, you need to switch to hand brushing. Call me if you need to. I can explain better over the phone.

    Next week, I have to strip, brighten & stain half of a deck. The other half of the deck wasn't THAT bad. Come on! People like that are cheeeeeeep! This is where you tell people that you have a minimum job price, and you will do the whole thing for that price.

  25. That is a terrible price. You have to have a minimum job of $450.00. Otherwise it wasn't worth the 2 trips and all the work & supplies.
