It smells like cherries until you mix it with SH anyway. Lol. Am I the only one who has not had good results with covering up the bleach smell when making a house wash with simple cherry? Don't get me wrong, it's probably one of the best house wash soaps out there. But it doesn't cover up the smell.

  2. I like TGS for sure...the other BBS I like is Powerwashcommunity . Micheal runs a clean BBS other there too !

PWRA...Pressurewashingresource is also a great BBS. Thad has done a great Job with that BBS as well !

With these three BBS, why go anywhere else?

Of course TGS is awesome, but I have gotten more useful information on *** than all the other boards combined. And the guys over there are great too. As long as you don't bring up the PWNA lol. Seems to be a pretty sensitive subject. I don't know the whole story, and I don't care to... If I did wood restoration though, TGS would be much more relevant to me.

  3. $250 is not a bad deal, but you're first priority should be upgrading you pressure washer. It's not that expensive. There is no need to save up for a big 8gpm rig when you're first starting out. You can get a 3500 psi 4gpm direct drive machine with a Honda GX390 engine for $400-$500 on craigslist. Or for another $300 or so, you could get one with a belt drive that will last twice as long between pump repairs.

  4. Really? I'm on the process of trying to get an equipment lease approved, but the way I'm doing it seems different. It's basically a loan. I pay first and last pay up front, decide how long I want to stretch out the payments, and at the end of the lease, I buy out the equipment for 10% of the total amount leased. Doesn't include repairs or anything, but it sounds like a program to me... Now you got me worried.

  5. Right now I'm mostly do residential work but I am hoping to get into doing some commercial work soon. Right now I have a 4gpm 4000 psi belt driven machine. I want to go with a hot water setup, but I'm wondering if spending 5k-8k is worth the extra 1.5 gpm? I could just get a water heater for the unit I've got. I don't know what they go for new, but I found one on craigslist for $100. Would buying a new skid really be worth it? I have never had the privilege of trying one of these units, so your input would be greatly appreciated.
