Thank-you all for your kind and suportive threads it really helped mark the one year turn.Back to work today and need help on what to clean a brick patio around a pool, nice old brick with average mold and solid mortar. starting out with Clorox/exterior bleach what to mix with so as not to mess up pool water?
  3. One house at a time

Firist Time thread, long time reader. Based in New Orleans ,started the business to make a dent in the recovery and wash away some of the hurt of Katrina. Have done a lot of PWing since Oct. much for profit and a lot for free , churches, outreach relief angencies and just plain folks needing homes cleaned out. It's now one year and as you see in the press there is a long way to go but the power of people helping people has been the greatest fruit of this tragady, unmatched in American history. The battle cry is one house at a time.I started in this business by the seat of my pants but am now building up monthly accounts and estabilshing a good reputation as a professional powerwasher.I enjoy everyone's threads of advice and support to each other on this site, has a great feeling of family that I look foward to contributing to and learning from. Thank-you Joe Burke

  5. In the mold trenches

Big easy flood washer in the trenches PWing mold drenched homes in New Orleans.Sorry but my high speed internet connect just got back on line after 7 months but still no land line.Been reading the forms for information but first time posting.Since the " Big One" I've been Power washing the outside flood line on the buildings, sidewalks, patitos and bricks with the white mold.Inside been removing mold from peak of roof to and including the floors.Using a 3500psi/5g per w/ 20hp honda and a 500gal tank for portable, not enough pressure to run any pw in the worst areas still.Fairly new to the business but been selling cleaning chemicals for 12 years in the area. Have a lot of monthly/bi monthly flat work starting up and plan on going to Memphis to pick up any tips I can.Looking foward to reciving a lot and maybe contributing to this forum. Cheers Joe B
