  1. as for pricing 50 cents per square foot is a start. this is based off advanced surfaces sealer, each 5 gallon gets me 750 square feet. 78.00 dollars is the cost per 5 gallons. the way i beak it down is 10 cwnts to p-wash 20 cents per coat of sealer.i ALWAYS do two coats accept on pool decks it is unnecacary and slippery if they have small children..and i spray it with a hudson or chapin sprayer. it might not be the "best" way but i like to get in and out. there are to many rainy days to be taking aaaalllll day to seal a driveway by rolling it. if you seal then it rains you are fine. refer to washaways advice when it rains before you seal. also sanding is more money roughly 50.00 per 500 square foot


  2. The white powdery substance you are referring to may be effloresence. We would wash with an efflo cleaner. Then wait until it is comletely dry. Any moister can cause a whiting or hazing effect. If you happen to put to much on,and cause a milky effect,just mist it with xylene and it should vanish. No point me talking pricing as I'm north of the border.

    Some people swear by water based, others solvent based. The USA has a much wider array of suppliers.

    not always. i am assuming don is talking about unsealed pavers her. if he is this is simply residue or some type of mortar/calcium buildup. a simple light degreaser can assist with this, i use a company called ices. in ft lauderdale. the chem is called tnt

  4. It doesn't always do the face of the tile. On real pourous roof tile ya gotta go back with a 40 tip. It sucks that way.

    We did one today that was adamant about no chemicals. We are finding more and more people do not want chemical cleaning.

    THE OTHER DAY I DID AN ESTIMATE THEN SHOWED UP TO DO THE JOB WENT ON THE ROOF THEN THE CUSTOMER CAME OUT AND TOLD ME NOT TO USE THE CURFACE CLEANER ON HIS ROOF"TILE". I WAS PISSED BECAUSE THE HOUSE WAS 5800 SQ. FOOT.

  5. I don't know how it works in SC, but here in FL, it isn't uncommon for the management company to list itself as the registered agent on the State Corporation annual report forms. In FL, that's easy to look up. For any condo or HOA, I can pretty much find out who the managment company is in a matter of minutes.

  6. If They Are Leased Go In Talk To The Leasing Agent...if They Are Owned Find The Onsite Property Management Co,or By Talking With The Owners Of The Lawn Cutting Co. The Big Lawn Companies Are Your Second Best Friend..if They Dont Do Pwing Talk To The Owner In Person So He Knows You Dont Landscape Or Mow The Lawns..ask For Some Contact Info..in Exchane A Connection On Your End Or Percentage Of The Bill...you Get The Idea


  7. Its A Good Idea, I Do That Also, I Tell People Its Free...but In My Head Its Included...shhh Dont Tell. In Ads I Say That I Will Do A Free Housewash With Any Roof Cleaning, On The Same Ad I Have A Coupon That Says Free Driveway With Any Roof Cleaning. Small Print They Obviously Cant Be Combined,,the Reason I Actually Do This Is To Show The Customers My Services Rather Than A Long List Of...... Walkways Driveways Housewashes Etc.

    IN REALITY DOING THE WHOLE HOUSE IS EASIER BECAUSE WHEN YOU DO A ROOF THE WALLS AND DRIVEWAY NEED TO BE CLEANED ANYWAY...BY TELLING THE CUSTOMER THEY WILL GET ONE OF THESE FOR FREE USUALLY THEY DONT EVEN SHOP AROUND..

Do Your House Your Driveway Your Patio Get Your Niebor To Let You Do There House Patio And Driveway, Do 100 Push Ups Run In Place For 20 Minutes, And If You Still Have Enough Energy To Go Pass Out Flyers, Go Home And Fax Or Call 10 People And Spend Some Time With Your Kids..and Last But Not Least Post On The Grime Scene Well. Then Welcome To The Pressure Cleaning Biz..other Than That Good Luck
