  1. 104 Year Old Brick

http://www.eacochem.com/specs_sabrestore.shtml EacoChem has a non-hydrofloric restoration cleaner called SafeRestore. Here is a test sample that we did on a stone building using the product.
  2. Same Old Story

Someone will always be cheaper. McDonald's doesn't sell the cheapest hamburger, but yet sells millions of them. There's always a cheaper plumber, roofer, electrician, carpenter, etc., yet the most expensive one's are still in business. You can't control what others charge, but you can promote the value of your services. You don't expect to land every job you quote anyway.
  3. Myrtle Beach contractors

I have a couple questions for you if you are in the Myrtle Beach area. Preferably the N. Myrtle Beach area. Please send me an email. Thanks, Dan Kessler dan@kesslerspowerwash.com
  4. At 6 gpm, 2500 psi should be more than enough for the decks, siding, and equipment. The flat surface cleaning you may see a difference. I'd go with the 2500.
  5. "It is with mixed emotions that we are placing DeckGuide.com and the DeckGuide Pro Forums up for sale." This probably explains some of why you can't get pads from Greg.
  6. Is anyone incorporated as an S Corporation? I wanted to know what advantages that you receive in comparison to being a sole proprietor. I am considering incorporation because I have annual pension contributions($8500)and health insurance premiums($6500) that are not deductible as a sole proprietor. In addition, I would like to eliminate the self employment tax. What dis-advantages do you see in being incorporated? Thanks in advance.
  7. Pressuretek skids

Ypu may want to call your local Honda dealers and inquire to them how a warranty claim would be handled. If it is not to your satisfaction, ask Bob to manufacture your washer with the engine that you want.
  8. Pressuretek skids

Most washers carry warranties from the component manufacturers, i.e. engine, pump, burner manufacturers warrant their component. Minor warranty work is between you and the distributor.
  9. Pressuretek skids

Here's a link to another thread on this board about pressure tek. My dealings with Bob @ Pressure Tek have been great. An honest, straight-forward person to work with. http://thegrimescene.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=8540#post8540

  11. Lancaster, PA. I spoke to my accountant, attorney and payroll service company. I've heard from their side the technical aspects, I was looking for some "practical" input.
  12. FCC Moves.

It's only available in the "100 wireless markets". Those not in the top 100 need to wait until next summer. <http://www.usatoday.com/tech/news/techpolicy/2003-10-28-port-limits_x.htm>

  14. Showroom floors and garages

Durall appears to be a more commercial grade product, where rustoleum is more do-it-yourself oriented. Here is a link for Durall: http://www.concrete-floor-coatings.com/
  15. Showroom floors and garages

What brand of epoxy floor sealer are you going to use? I am looking to do my garage floor, and am looking for a recommendation. Can you post a link to the product. I'm presently considering Rustoleum's new epoxycoat, or Durall floor coatings. Thanks

I think pool shock is 10% to 12% bleach (sodium hypochlorite). It is referred to as pool shock, because a pool supplier is typically where you can buy it, and it is used to "shock" the ph level of the pool.
  21. The x-jet, depending on your gpm of your machine, adds roughly 2 parts water to the cleaners as it is applied(without a proportioner). So if you wanted the same strength that you use from your pump up, you would have to make it twice as strong to achieve the same net dilution. You can adjust your strength of your concentrate from there.
  22. pitch witch

If you look at the link I posted above, it shows a walking stick attachment.
