Everyone read this article through the heading 'Economy' and then revisit this thread with accurate information and not conjecture or worse. :) There are quite a few salient points that are being ignored.

Of course it depends on who you ask. My guess is that it's a crapshoot whether they will hold or not.

That was on the North Shore, where I lived- a lot closer to where the storm actually hit in SW Mississippi. Most of the FEMA money went to areas that were directly hit by the hurricane. New Orleans wasn't destroyed until the next day when the levees broke. The Army Corp of Engineers built the levees. Whole different scenario.

That's probably for a blue cat. Channel cats don't get nearly as big as blues or flatheads.

I thought you were going to speak briefly Sunday morning but I guess it was about over by the time you got over there. We talked about it and decided that next time we will try to keep the actual meeting to around 45 minutes (from 2:00-2:45 or so) to allow enough time for other activities. I don't know if I can manage the quarterly get-togethers that were discussed Saturday but we'll see what we can do! ;)

I agree with Chris. Look out for the scenario where they work you hard on the price based on three times a year service and then bail after the first service or put you off until next year. For any type of bid- only offer discounts on subsequent services, never on the first one. It's an old, dirty trick that still works too many times.

What ever happened with the police report, Ron? It is New Orleans, but they're supposed to treat tourists better than they treat the locals.

+1, Larry. Simple Cherry and 12%. Sometimes multiple coats are needed and be sure to soap from the ground up. It's rare, but you can get streaks.

Are the black streaks mold/mildew or roof runoff?
