As soon as I clicked on this thread I saw it and said, "Oops!".

I use a 1540 (or 2540) and a 0040 to apply soap. If you create back pressure by closing the ball valve a little bit you will shut off the downstreamer. Vi-ola! You're shooting just water with a nice fat low pressure stream.

Turn the soap off at the gun with your ball valve. Just tighten it up a little and rinse with your low pressure soap tip.

At some point it WILL leak and you will wish that you didn't have a backpack full of caustic or hot Love running down the Grand Canyon.

Welcome, Scott. There is a staggering amount of info to be had with the search button and you should feel free to ask questions as well. Wow, wow, WOW! All I can say is, "Wow!" Y'all just blew me away. The contractors, the speakers, the sponsors.... Even the wives and girlfriends! Everybody was so cool and POSITIVE! It was just a joy to be part of this year's event. Thank you to each and every one of you who attended and took part. EVERYone got involved and that just made it an incredible event. I always say, "Never again. It's too much work and too much stress." This year was a milestone and I can truthfully say, "Bring on NOLA 2011!" Plans are in the works!
