I think that will be a decent set up to start with, but as others have said, why not go for the 8?

I'm interested in pressure washing, too, but am lurking to educate myself before making costly mistakes.
I'm probably doing the right thing by just lurking. To all of Beth's questions, my answer to all but one is "No" and to the third question, a "Maybe."
I just like squirting water.
But I can't even do that without hurting myself. I put the wand under my arm with the trigger tied open so I could pull up my shorts. I dropped the wand and caused a little booboo on the inside of my upper left arm. This booboo got worse, so I went to the doctor today and got a tetanus shot and some antibiotics.
So I'm just lurking, where it's safe.

I wouldn't use the Maxima unless you are running at least 10 GPM
