  1. I totally agree with RalphQ. I love the forums and miss all the activity, especially the input from all the very experienced folks when someone has a question. especially like being able to search the archives for the older nuggets of info when needed.

I despise the social networks and only use them to advertise my business, staying away from them otherwise.

Maybe some will get tired of the networks and come back to the forums....sure would be nice.

  2. Here are my suggestions, based on what I've learned here and the other forums, and through experience:

Don't waste your money on the extension pole, just get wand extensions (if you really need them) and QC them together.

Don't waste your money on over priced chems; just use the tried and true house wash mix, let it dwell, rinse it well.

Get yourself set up with softwash tips and don't ruin that siding with high pressure.

I realize that you're already on the hook for this job, but you'll do a better job for your customer and save yourself a lot of hassle if you reschedule the job, order the stuff you need to do it right, and do a bit more research while you're waiting for the toys to arrive.

  3. I've been talking to Jake Clark and Everett Abrams, and both of their products sound awesome. I know every loves AC, and that's what I intend to use when I use oil. Problem is, we get rain here daily during the spring and summer. Everett's stuff (DRP) looks awesome and he has a great reputation. Plus, he has been extremely helpful to me (as has Jake) and I want to return the favor by supporting his company. The thing that really turns me on to Everett's products is that moisture content is basically a non-factor. Has abyone used it? If so, what are your thoughts? I think it cod really be s good thing in my area, but I hear nothing but bad stuff about acrylics.....I want to give my customers the best work and quality for the money, and I don't want to keep them waiting for the weeks or months for the weather to cooperate......Any feedback/advice is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!
