I am firing my Deck Restoration guy
HotShot replied to plainpainter's question in Wood Cleaning & Restoration - Decks, Fences, etc.
OK...this may be a stupid question, but why not just use a stripper that works righ out of the box? Why re-create the wheel? -
I just aquired this customer and they have a major problem (or so it seems to me) with grease all over what could be a nice deck. Now, I'm a greaser by heart so removing that is no problem for me, but I don't want to mess up the deck in the meantime. She has asked me to pw the entire deck and I've read from you pros enough to know that I don't use much pressure and NO hot water on this baby. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated.... Oh yeah, don't have time to order those fancy wood chems you guys use, I planned on mixing up a mild caustic and foaming this bad boy down....then I brighten with ox right? or bleach?...oh wait, is it throw a little bleach in with my caustic then rinse then apply ox? man, maybe I should do some more reading....hahahah Sheck it out mang

no Phil, I gotta one up you .... This is the most rediculous statement. Rod, you should go onto the "View" with Rosie O'Fatso and you guys could blame America together!!! Saddam was a pure innocent, sweet gentle man...poor little sacrificial lamb. Dude, that's disgusting, in my opinion, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Downstreaming or x-jetting ?
HotShot replied to itswillist's question in Residential Pressure Washing
I don't know bro, all I know is that Paul Kassander sells it and I'm sure he could tell you all about it. I'm not really an x-jet kinda guy (even though I do like them and have used them) I'm more of a foamer kinda guy. :) -
Jeff, I think I have the same virus as YOU.... My daughter is 5, my wife is getting ready to pop anytime in April (Due date is the 28th) and I'm already thinking about another one. She KNOWS I'm crazy and she's saying that if she has to have a c-section, then she's gonna make them knock me out and start snippin on me at the same time. Sooo, I'm scheduling more work than usually in the month of April :D

why the heck do you send 2 people to do a 1 man job?!
HotShot replied to Jarrod's question in Residential Pressure Washing
in KEC business...for safety. However, I still do tons of jobs by myself. Having a helper only saves me about 20 mins on a 2-3 hour job. -
