  1. Well, i now remember what it was like to not know anything when i started in the cleaning and sealing paver/concrete business lol. A Contractor we do business with and do all of their cleaning and sealing projects has added installation of marble/tile terrazo ect interior flooring to their projects... They asked if we could do any of their tile grout cleaning buffing ect... If anyone canm narrow down a starter list of what i would need to do this i would greatly appriciate it lol Syeam cleaner? Chemicals? ect? Is the sealer a xylene based as i would use for outside marble or concrete? Thank you, Cody
  2. INFO PLEASE on tile/grout/clean seal ect?

Checked out the site....very good thank you very much for the info :) Cody
  3. Ok Brick guys I need help

Ifd your going to use anything use an actual a\effloe remover Techniseal they sell an actual efflo remover which is made up of less strong acids i would still be cautious with brick.... and btw there are different stages of efflo 1st 2nd the secondary efflo can leach out monthes later... Number one i would never recommend sealing any Clay brick product even if it doesnt have efflo, its way to pourous and will most likely haze up on you.. And youd just be sealing in the efflo even if you did so it would still come to the surface but just be locked in.
  4. We do many Garage floors.....have moved more into selling acid etching, sinc e many people like the effect once sealed. But its basically a resin with little flakes you put in for looks :) Never had a problem with it however i can do the same thing with a color stain flake and clear coat. I prefer that route then to buy a box from home depot :) my .02
  5. Paint removal

Im not sure what u mean by cement paint.... i assume your speaking of a color stain of some sort.... Xylene should take care of this if not to thick....if not a stripper such as DADS will take everything off competely :)
  6. Ok Brick guys I need help

Looks like Lime / efflo leaking out of joints... Try some efflo remover if that doesnt work its more a lime /calcium prob i use C.L.R u can get from home depot its a household lime remover..
  7. Paver cleaning and sealing Help!!!!

Yeah Most of the Good suppliers are out of Fl since this was the first place pavers were brought since they came from europe. Very big Business down here.... U can send me a PM or email if you have nay questions about the correct procedures for prep and some products that we use for sealing, since thats all we do :)
  8. oil stains

We specialize in pavers/concrete and marble flatwork and the only two products that have worked for us is from a company called ADDIMENT (oil/tar remover) and recently tried the pour n restore which worked good.. However, I do not know Anyone no matter what they say that is able to remove the carbon shadow often left behind from deep penitrating oil thats been down for a while. Sometimes u get lucky though. Cody
  9. How many actual working hours?

Well i dont use a wand to clean, just apply chems and rinse. But with the surface cleaner included 15-20 but i dont pressure clean houses i do concrete staining and sealing so its double work lol
  10. cement splatter

mix 25% muratic in pump sprayer apply to al concrete.....then rinse with wand... I Do prob 3-4 of these a week lol New construction jobs ive seen much much worse...
  11. another sealerguy after me

NO prob.. any time.... just hit me an email when your in the area
  12. another sealerguy after me

I have a few brochers from the gentleman u speak of.... When i was a sales rep for a paver manufacture here in south florida. Here is the only prob i see that u may want to think about... Like HMSGA you can get alot out of one gallon spefically when spraying 1000+ squar feet is i think a BIT over i would say more like 500 sq ft is what i get from a 1 gall. But, if i tell a customer that with THIS sealer i guarentee your not going to get mold or mildew for up to 10 years, believe me people remember. The coatings in my opinion not act in the same way on a porous material such as concrete or pavers. Mold WILL find its way onto anything that is slightly damp with little light and the little cracks in pavers and concrete will give i\mold that enviroment regardless of what you use. You can check out my web site for more info or if you have any question..www.sflasealcoating.com All we do is Sealcoat. my .02 COdy
  13. oil stains

The only product ive used that has gotten any results is oil/stain remover by addiment... ive gotten (debuggs) which was a microbial cleaner ...did nada and have been sent many other sample degreasers... Oil itself i can remove..... but if oil has been down for a long period of time it will leave a distinct Carbon shadow which i dont know anyone that has been able to clean....i will try that klenztone and see how that does,,,richard let me know what results u get with that car dealership. :)
  14. Paver Cleaning and Sealing

no no.... they have some good cleaners ect...i just dont use their paver sealer products.. :)
  15. Paver Cleaning and Sealing

Efflo is fairly simple to remove...most muratic blends will disolve the calcium. And Just a side note to the Advanced surfaces materials out of margate florida. They know their stuff when it comes to pre formed and stamped concrete. However, be forworned, their sealer is a touline base not a xylene base so your going to need alot more of it then you normally would since touline dries very very quick. The slower a sealer dries the more it penitrates the surface. I even had them give me a sample of their 30% to try it... I would stay away from their sealer go with relience (cobblecoat)....proline....acrylux ( colorback ) www.techniseal.com out of canada has very good sealing products as well. And remember if u use a water base product on a paver..you WONT be able to ever tell u sealed it so just make the customer aware its an invisible sealer.
