  1. Propane soot on aluminum siding

I agree with Russ, however if you do come across soot on aluminum or vinyl, I have had good luck with Hydrocloric Acid. I like to use the buffered stuff, it is a lot more expensive but safer and more stable than the stuff you can get at you local hardware store. As always do a test spot. At 2 years old you should be fine but aluminum can get chalky quick and you might end up having to acid wash the entire side of the building to blend in one small spot... Just my 2 cents.
  2. Question for you house washers

I come across this all the time and believe it or not normal house wash works about 1/2 the time (bleach and high quality soap)... if not try an acid like safe restore or britenol. The siding must be vinyl however as acid will discolor aluminum. Good luck!
  3. Blue Aluminum Siding

You might want to look into acid washing... never tried it but heard it works on aluminum siding thats faded.
  4. Warm weather thoughts

Anyone have any comments/input on the warm winter causing more mold and mildew on houses and decks this spring and summer? :-) And is anyone else fearing the inevitable drought in the next couple of years, this is a constant fear of mine. Not sure how to plan for this other than to save $. Even if there are no water restrictions for the businesses, new customers will automatically think there are and not look for the advertisements.
