Dennis, You will have to adapt the 2" down using a reducer to a 3/4 NPT then convert it over to a 3/4" HPT. Hose pipes have a different thread count than standard 3/4" fittings. I am not sure how you are setup and if your tanks are trailer mounted. If not then you could put the tank in your truck bed if it will handle it and feed to the pump. That would give you the extra elevation needed. I have 2-325 gallon tanks on my trailer and when I start getting low I take the trailer loose from the truck and jack the tongue up as high as I can to get the water back there. I only do this if I have to have that last little water and dont wont to quit to go reload. As far as the unloader I am not sure. I am sure that someone else will chime in shortly. Anthony

Roger, When I was in Stevenage the company that I was working for said that it took so long to get the phones hooked up because there was only one service providor and it was like take it or leave it when they give you an installation date. They lied to me about most things while I was there and it wouldnt surprise me if that was a lie also. Heck, they flew a guy over from the states and worked him for 3 days, drug tested him and sent him back home. I had to take the drug test before going over. You have some beautiful country over there and I didnt get to see much of it. Wasnt there very long.

What is the mix for the simple cherry and how are you mixing it? Does it have to be added to the bleach just before using it? I mixed some the other morning in a 2.5 gallon jug. I used 1.25 gallon SHC and mixed half gallon of hot water with 8 oz simple cherry then topped off with water. I used it about 4 hrs later and it reaked as usual of the chlorine smell. Am I doing something wrong or is it not working as I expected? Bob? Anthony

Jarrod, I went over to an area just north of London and every street has a different postal code.......we were in a new subdivision and couldnt order a pizza......no postal code=no phone=no delivery without postal code.

Jarrod, The phone number is right under the yellow oval in his logo. They have different looking phone numbers in the UK and you dial different codes for mobile or home (I think). It was hard for an american to get used to there phone system. They also only have one service provider.

Rando, I just picked up the order on monday....they loaded one drum in the truck bed. They had told me about the $300 minimum order the other year but they did say a thing about the last two times. I dont know if me picking it up has anything to do with that. I cleaned a white vinyl siding house yesterday with some of the fresh batch and man what a difference it made it the cleaning time. I can stop by on the way home from work when I work nights. I did get charged the $40 drum deposit and will be credited on my account for the one that I returned.....so next time I wont have to pay the deposit. If I could use it fast enough I can get it delivered in a 250 gal tote.....but by DOT regs I cannot carry over a 1000# of product.

I have to agree with Celeste.......that house needs a bath at the least. Should be good before and after photos.

Bill, I know that the parts house for Honda (NC) is in Greensboro, NC. I had a run around with Northern Tool to get a gas tank for 3 weeks. I found this place about 2-3 miles from them that had it in stock but didnt sell to the public but they will tell you who to call. In my case a small repair center was like 100 yds away and they walked over and picked the part up before I could there. Good Luck. What is the percentage of nonylphenol in the Tergitol or is the latter just a trade name for the nonylphenol? Just curious as the surfactant manufacturer that I work for has several thousand gallons of it in totes and tanks. Thanks, Anthony

Phillip, That friend of my wife's acted like that little unit bout killed her. Took Monday off and griped all day Tues about being sore. I had a good laugh at her expense also. I am relocating the old unit on the trailer to make room for the new one and will set them up to run independently or together. Thanks for your input.

Also....please remember that for your chem tank to have a gravity feed effect that the level in the tank would have to be considerably higher in level than the height of where it feeds into the pressure washer or it is still sucking it in.

Phillip, Thanks for the input. I appreciate the knowledge. I had thought that all northern stuff was trapped style unloaders. A friend of my wifes wanted me to drive about an hour each way to clean a large indoor/outdoor dog kennel that she just built. She didnt even want to have to pay for the fuel cost. She then went to Northern and bought a small pw unit (2500/2.5) so that she would have it when she needed it.......called in sick on monday due to all of her muscles hurting.....some people dont realize the workout we get holding that kind of pressure. Phillip, I have a small 3500/4gpm that I bought from Northern Tool years ago and I just picked up an identical unit for little of nothing. Do these normally have the trapping unloaders....they do have the pressure burst on them when you pull the trigger. I like the k7 style unloaders alot better but if these two will work together like they are then I will do the T from Home Depot. Thanks. Anthony

I have never encountered a job quite that distance. Can you get to the other end with a water supply? I have 600gal capacity with 300 feet of pressure hose but still wouldnt make that type of run. Good luck and remember that you will still need a really good water source to travel several hundred feet thru 3/4" hose pipe. Good Luck Anthony

Matthew, I dont know about Ryan's setup......but I have two 325 gal tanks equalized that I can add another 2" to 3/4" fitting and have these tanks supply both pumps. When the tanks get low on a job with no water supply then I just crank the trailer jack up and push the water to the back. You are correct that they dont pull very well. Anthony

Ryan, I have not done this as of yet. I just purchased a second used 3500/4gpm unit and was looking at doing the same thing. I have talked to an engineer at my full time job and we came up with this. Set both machines at the same pressure output then have them going into a manifold with check valves on both sides then out to the hose reel (or hose). Just have to remember to use a nozzle on the gun that is suited for the 3500/8gpm when you use both pumps. Anthony

You are correct that in your face advertising gets your product or service remembered. I have seen these and have remembered them for years. "Your Sh** is our bread and butter" or "A royal flush is better than a full house" for plumbers. They stick in your head which can be a good thing. Does anybody remember the young and old man in the hearse listening to "Another on bites the dust" ........this was an ad for AIWA radios and stuck in my head.

Dont forget to wash your hands immediately afterwards though. Remeber it is a corrosive and some poeples skin is more sensitive than others.

Do any of you know if there is a synflex type hose made that will handle steam? Where I work full time (surfactants chemical plant) has some products that setup in 3" piping and the only way to clean it out is to steam it. We currently have to setup a steam spud style setup to keep from building to much pressure but it takes a really long time to clean out as the heat is not being applied right to the problem. I would love to be able to steam right against the product but wasnt sure about sending standard 3/8" on up to 200 ft runs thru the piping. Thanks in advance Anthony

Most of the piping is stainless very little cast iron. Most lines are heat traced but every now and then you get somebody that sends the wrong products thru the non heat traced lines. THanks.....this is just mainly for ooppss's.

As long as it would hold up to the steam and be somewhat flexible as to snake thru a 1.5" - 3" pipe then it would do the trick.

After reading the comments on Restora, I went to Flood.com and there is a little video that you can watch on the application of this product on shutters and if it is that time consuming on shutters then god help you with the house. It says cost to restore or replace.......that must be if the homeowner does it with no charge at labor and does see there on time valuable. NC must be like VA. Here we can get a loca license for like $1000 or less jobs but they want us to apply for a class c business license for anything above that. I have a bid coming up for $2000 plus with the city and tey probably wont care if if is over the $1000.
