pricing on house cleaning???

i use to charge a $1 a linear ft per level to clean a house. hot water with hot wax and cool rinse. clean gutters with gutter zap. this was in georgia. i made out pretty good. am in in the washington, dc metro area now and thinking of starting up again to spend time with my nephew and get him started in an exciting business. i also would like to grow big enough again to go full time. any help on pricing would be great.

To answer your question you should charge as much as you can and still get work. The price you posted above is about average IMO.
