Hardy Plank Siding?

So, I never ran across any, but I just did. Now I am curious if I need to do anything different than on regular vinyl siding to clean it? For regular vinyl I use 1 gallon of 12%, 0.5 gallons of AllBrite, and 3.5 gallons of water with the X-Jet. Now has anybody ever ran across Hardy Plank siding? And if so, do I need to look out for anything?

I have Hardi on my house and I have done others with it. I use the same mix I use on vinyl. Never had a problem.

Pat - I agree...same mix as vinyl. I do them all of the time. Just be careful for "soft spots"...your xjet will blow right through them if you're not careful. In my experience, the final result never seems to "pop" like vinyl. Good luck...

never had a problem here either using my basic house wash. cleans just as easy as vinyl.
