CraftonHill 14 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 How do you people deal with customers that think that you are just slacking off when it is 60% chance of rain and you can not stain. Also, what percentage of chance of rain stops you from staining?
0 Mountain View 14 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 (edited) I've never had a problem with that attitude from customers. I keep in constant contact with them during the course of a job. When I do have to delay for weather I always have a new schedule to give them; I don't leave it open ended as to when I plan to complete the job. As far as chances of rain delaying the job, that's a little harder but more than 50% would probably cause me to delay staining. 0 FLORIN 21 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 Same here. Just be up front at the beginning about the possibility of weather delays due to the chance of rain and keep in contact with them about it. They would rather have their deck done right and not rushed and have the possibility of their stain ruined due to bad weather.
