0 PWkid 79 Report post Posted January 31, 2009 I would hope if your inquiring about 1/2 inch hose you are using over 10 gpm, some manufactures use 1/2 inch hose for the first 50 or 100 ft then go to 3/8 hose. 1/2 inch hose is very expensive. I know they make blue(neptune) nonmarking 1/2 inch hose i just cant find it anywhere. i would settle for the first 100 feet 1/2 inch and second 100 3/8 do you think the new black hose will mark concrete? 0 All Surface 24 Report post Posted January 31, 2009 All of my high pressure hoses are 3/8 black. From time to time depending on what chems I'm using it will mark up the concrete or pavers. I normally just rinse it off with water. It comes right off! I've never found the marking to be permanent or to be a big deal to remove. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
