homer 64 Report post Posted March 17, 2009 A few years back we took on the FlowJet line thinking there were a lot of customers who would prefer them over ShurFlo. Boy were we wrong! We sat on our initial stock for several month and a few pumps we had on the shelf of over a year. When we did sell the older ones a couple of them had problems right out of the box. I contacted FlowJet for warranty returns and was told they were out of warranty even thou the customer had just purchased them. Come to find out their warranty in-service date starts the day we purchase them ad a distributor and not when the customer purchases them. We have since dropped the line. ShurFlo? I can never remember having a problem with them. Good luck with FlowJets. This is the start-up season. I would hate to see you get hooked on a NEW out of warranty pump.
