svp07 14 Report post Posted June 21, 2004 I was just wondering the price difference between doing a deck cleaning (EFC-38) and stripping a deck (HD-80), the price per square foot charged to the customer. Is it higher due to the harshness of the chems? Thanks.
0 Firedkm 14 Report post Posted June 22, 2004 Steve, The price is higher because of how difficult it can be stripping a deck. Depending what is on the deck you may have to strip it two times and somtimes more. Basically the labor and cost of materials are higher so you have to adjust your prices accordingly. 0 reed 500 Report post Posted December 9, 2004 Also, I might add in here that you may need to brighten after cleaning especially with a percarb. You can't count 100 percent on the percarb to brighten effeiciently. Yes it will brighten on it's own, but it has been my experience that it needs help to get the neutralization/brightening that one should strive for.
