I just got a note from one of our subscribers telling me he was having to leave the industry. A botched surgery messed up his ability to clean, and his son fell and injured the nerves in his right hand, and will not be able to use it again.
As you may know, our publisher (and my dear friend) Steve Stephens ended his 30 year cleaning business following a horrific car accident in 2008.
Just all serves as a reminder that we are not invincible. Backup plans, insurance, savings, retirement...easy to put on the back burner, but imperative to keep in the forefront.
