Since I have several lawn garden tractor verticle shaft motors (18-20 hp mowers gave up long before the engines)around I was wondering if any of the pump manufacturers make a commercial pump that has the shaft verticle instead of horizontal. It would seem that they would. I assume that most if not all pumps currently has to have the shaft horizontal. Anyone else ever wonder about these things?
