bks0005 14 Report post Posted May 30, 2012 I cant seem to find the operating fuel pressure for my Wayne burner. I have been told everything from 110 PSI to 200 PSI. I am having problems with it sooting up every 40 hours. What should it be set at?
cleanhoods 43 Report post Posted May 30, 2012 I would think that is probably set right...considering it was right before the problem ....right? My guess your filter may be in need of cleaning....if it is anything like my pump the back comes apart and there is a filter inside the pump. But this is just guess. Also the nozzle that the fuel sprays out from has a filter as well that needs cleaning once in a while. Marko
bks0005 14 Report post Posted May 30, 2012 Its a new machine with 100 hours on it and I have had to clean the coil twice from being clogged. Both times the filters were all clean and both times I put in new filters before starting back up with new fuel. I have had people tell me to have the fuel pressure set at 110 some all the way up to 200.
