Need Advice on Clear Sealer for Redwood Deck Railing

I want to protect the railing of a redwood deck. The wood has already grayed. I don't know the age, but would guess it is 3 - 5 years old. The deck itself is Trex and is gray. I want something that will preserve the natural gray color. Any advice?
