Small ACQ Pressure Treated deck

Question

Here is a small ACQ deck that had been built 6 months ago then sat out to cure before sealing. The biggest problem with new ACQ wood is the greenish tint from the copper treatment. The pics show a little green but it was more noticeable in person. The deck was Bleached and pressure washed then brightened.

Always remember to rinse the bleach off the best you can since mixing oxalic and bleach will put out a mean odor so wear a respirator.

The stained pic is very wet it wasn't drying to fast in the early A.M

I'll say it again, that one looks nice. Btw, thanks for your advice on the green fence I am dealing with. I think it's a similar issue to what you are saying here.

I think your fence will be just fine once you stain it.You can only do so much with new ACQ pine pickets now a days it's a nightmare with those leopard spots. I'm glad cedar is king here for cedar fences!
