Bird poop

Question

I have a customer who is interested in getting some bird poop removed from her wood siding. Up to this point, I have not had to deal with bird poop. Have I been lucky, or is it generally not an issue?

Either way, I did a search on the forum and all I found was threads pertaining to awning cleanings. Would a standard house wash mix remove the bird poop? If not, what should I use? Is this something I should pass on, or is this a job that can be done.

I advised her that the poop may leave a stain through the paint, but she just wants it removed. Attached are a couple of pictures although my camera appears to be on its last legs and the pictures did not come out well.
