Snow Lover 14 Report post Posted May 7, 2005 If you were going to buy a new rig would it be trailer or truck(3/4-1 ton flatbed) mounted? You would be doing strickly residential. And don't worry about money, what would you pick and why or why not for residential?
0 R L S 14 Report post Posted May 7, 2005 Money doesnt matter. I would take a flat bed 1ton or better yet a F-550 with tank and all mounted on top with the reels on the back. Why? because its easier to move around and drive in town than with a trailer. Then again a trailer is nice to drop off and run out and give bids and use as a daily driver and gets good gas mileage. You can also use the bed to haul stuff when you need more room. I would only get a flatbed rig if I had another pickup for giving bids and running around.
