Jeffrey Abrams 14 Report post Posted January 18, 2006 I have wooden doors that I need to sand and apply 2 coats of a polyurathane. At the base of most door there are black kick marks from shoes I'm guessing. I was wondering if there is anything I can use prior to the sanding to remove these spots? I don't see why the sanding wouldn't remove them? You could also try some laquer thinner on a rag.
0 RyanH 14 Report post Posted January 18, 2006 I use soft scrub on a wash cloth to remove scuff marks from shoes on interior door, walls, and trim. Did this in one of my jani accounts....cleaned half a mile of baseboards every month.
