stain out of concrete

Is there any way to get stain out of concrete that has been set in for years? My customer had a previous contractor spill deck stain on his sidewalk, is there anyway to pull it out?

straight stripper, dwell, aggitate, wash. Or oven cleaner (this method will remove some cement too)

thanks for the tip jarod,I sprayed it with original easy off oven cleaner scrubbed it with a plastic bristle brush, let it dwell, rinse, repeat 3x over for 1/2 hour. I then actually sprinkled HD80 powder over it, scrubbed, dwell, rinse repeat for about an hour. I think this stain is too far down. It did lighten up about 30-40%.
