JohnW 14 Report post Posted August 1, 2006 Hello All, How often does the fluid in the pump itself need to be changed? I have a general pump and I've never changed the fluid in it. I have changed the oil several times (I've been part time for almost 3 years) but have never changed the fluid in the pump. Looking in the clear window of the pump, the fluid still looks clear. R L S 14 Report post Posted August 1, 2006 Change it after the very first 50hrs which has passed I assume then every 200hrs after that.Use 30w non-detergent oil. Change your engine oil and filter every 50 I let mine go a bit longer than that. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
