I run in to it all the time. I'll show the customer the mold on their house and they say no just the roof. Then I know they have a wal-mart 2500 psi special but they can't or don't want to do the roof. I don't have the same run-off problem that your having if the chemical is running onto the house or soffitt they have bigger problems. When I rinse the roof it takes care of any mess from the cleaning.

When I Say Run-off I Mean The Mold That Sticks To The Walls, Driveway Etc. There Is A Film Of Mold That Needs To Be Rinsed Off.
