Chlorine stain removal

This friend of mine has one of those Softub portable hot tubs, it has a vinyl liner. There is an accumulation of chlorine and hard water deposit on the vinyl itself so it went from blue to almost a white. If you rub it hard enough it will go back to blue but I am scared to damage the liner. Is there any cleaners that could dissolve the deposits without damaging the vinyl.

Pour some white vinegar on a rag and try whiping it. It should help.

If it does then dilute the vinegar with some water and go to town.

Thanks, just tried it and it doesn't tickle it. Am wondering about CLR or a product like it?

Rubbing with your fingers get it off but vinegar won't? Hm.

It must be just grime buildup.

Thought of using a soft brush?

Greased lightning used to work when I was younger. Use brush for agitation.
