Regards[/quote']This is incorrect and potentially dangerous information. TriChlor is very acidic, and will lower the PH of Sodium Hypochlorite. This will increase the formation of what is called Hyperchlorus Acid in the SH. This Hyperchlorus Acid is a great DISINFECTANT, and that is why both Acid and TriChlor are added to swimming pools.
However, as roof cleaners, we are interested in the CLEANING power of Sodium Hypochlorite. The cleaning power of SH is increased at HIGH Ph, where the formation of the Hypochlorite Ion is more favorable.
DO NOT ADD TRICHLOR TO SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE BECAUSE DEADLY CHLORINE GAS CAN FORM AND KILL YOU
Great and important information. There are a lot of cleaners mixing chemicals incorrectly.
