Another waste of money...DOT approved gas can $269.00 http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200518084_200518084?cm_mmc=Google-pla-_-Fuel%20Transfer%20%2B%20Lubrication-_-Fuel%20Cans-_-27599&ci_src=17588969&ci_sku=27599&gclid=CKbrhNPWm7sCFTRo7AodjVgA_A Same 5 gallon plastic gas can $19.00 http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200513238_200513238 All of them are now sold with the equally stupid EPA mandated no spill gas spouts. http://lfb.org/today/how-government-wrecked-the-gas-can/

TN is using the same standards the feds use to look at employees as far as tax purposes.

What happened with your underwriting of KEC policies? -
I know blue smoke on a diesel truck is poor ignition of the fuel. Look at the fuel soleniod, fuel filter and the pump. Sounds like the soleniod since there is some fuel just sitting there at start up so it might be leaking.

Our neighbor runs accounting software that is used by hundreds of small hardware stores across the US to track inventory and sales. He said that in reality the smaller hardware stores are with-in pennies of the bog box stores on everything with the exception of power tools and building materials.

You mean like United Way.... bunch of !/ing scumbags We used to have a supervisor who "wanted 100% donations from people in his unit" when they payroll deduction came around for the once a year donation. It went on for years until one guy adamantly refused to give a dime to them and stood up and said his wife used to work for them and left in disgust over how they wasted money on themsleves. They had a closed door "talk." about it and they agreed to not talk about it anymore. Just over a year later the president of United Way was fired and indited for his thivery the guy who refused to pay's wife testified against him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Aramony

They should run a hot water pressure washing and pump rebuilding school in the winter. Would be a good fit.

Downstream Injectors

They are like every other vendor just selling the Barens stuff. I remember your thread about the customer service ( or lack of it) from them. -
I think this sums it up completely.

Downstream Injectors

I see epec no longer makes pressure washers. Has anyone tried their chem injector for KEC work? -
There is no drawback from doing the right thing. The drawbacks come from when people want to do the right thing for the wrong reason. Personally I think it goes against what god wants people to do to brag about how you donate or help out a service organization and expect to get positive exposure or a tax credit. Do it because you want to and be done with it. If you recieve a donation letter from them so be it but don't go looking for it.

We do cleanings at 3 places as a donation, all are 501c and they just give a donation letter to us. No big deal either way since 2 are churches and the last is service organization that does some really great things for people with almost nothing. I have never asked for publicity nor do I want it. We had a local company do a septic tank pumping for a church and got written up as a "thank you" by a local paper. They were inundated for weeks with other churches and non-profits calling to see if they would donate a pumping to them.

We have 2 cats 2 generals and one AR. They all run fine. Yes the cats cost more to rebuild. They also can be completely rebuilt in about 45 minutes and put back into operation. One general is 6 years old and has no issues the other has a serial number 40 more than the other one and it has been rebuilt 2 times in 6 years so it might just be the luck of the draw. The AR is on a back up machine and only runs 4 or 5 times a year or to use to clean the vans so I have no info on how well it holds up.

Well think of the alternative, it could of still been a TS or worse. Only thing that stops us is Ice,deep snow and lightning.

Might want to look at this link from Gainger lots of good info on OSHA and ANSI requiremnts for ladders for commercial use. http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/static/ansi-osha-ladder-requirements-132.html This is a issue at many large government and industrial jobs where they have been added as a loss payee on the insurance for your work.
